This is a great charger. It tells me when the battery is charged and, if not, how much is remaining to do. The only drawback is that you can't plug it in upside down. It won't charge that way. This means that I can't plug two of them into the same socket. Other than that, it's terrific!

This has come in handy when recording my sons games during basketball tournaments. Much easier to carry one charger and just 2 batteries.

Sometimes power cables get lost, or you forget to label them. With a standalone battery charger you recognize it right away. It does it's job, and it does it well.

Does the job and it charges fast, maybe an hour if you’re not in a rush.

This charges my batteries quickly and I only have to plug it in one time. When my battery is fully charged it lights up completely green.

Took this on vacation to Europe. Always had a fresh charged battery. Did have to have a special adapter to use it in the European plugs. But that was easy to find.

I was skeptical that this would charge my battery as well as the original one. It charged the battery in less time then the charger that came with my camera.

I misplaced my original Sony HandyCam charger and raced out and bought this Sony Travel charger. It is so convenient and charges fast. I wish I would have bought this travel charger years ago as it does not tie up my camera to charge the battery. Days later I then located my original HandyCam charger and have no intent to use my original - this travel charger is so convenient. Oh and did I mention how tiny it is? It fits nicely in my camera bag.
