Easy to use great picture plays regular and HD videos

Ive owned four or five sony blu ray players, and there simply is no substitute. Made the mistake of getting a Samsung blu ray player once and I'm happy to have moved on from those. This Sony is made well and has all the apps and features you could ever want. Picture is stunning and theres no lag time when playing a disc.

Plays my 3D and 4K videos without any problems, and looking and sounding Great! Now if I can only get the video distributors and Best Buy to actually STOCK my 3D videos, life would be sweet!! BEST BUY HAS ABANDONED 3D VIDEOS LEAVING US 3D LOVERS OUT IN THE COLD!!! 3D trumps 4K every time!! Thanks Best Buy, for nothing!!

I was looking at upgrading my player since I got some 4K movies as gifts and I am extremely happy with this purchase. If you are using wireless setup to connect to apps, you have to reconnect every time you turn it on but that’s really the only hiccup. Picture and sound is beautiful. Highly recommend

So glad I bought this player to match my recently purchased 4K TV!! Many streaming options and can play video files from USB port! Only gripe is it does not support Dolby Vision. But all in all a great player at a great price!

I really like this Hi-Res 4K HDR streaming BD/DVD player. It matches well with the Sony 3.1 Ch Hi-Res wireless soundbar/sub and Sony X900F Series 4K Ultra HD TV with HDR. It's footprint is larger than other models, but has higher quality components.

Giving this product 5 stars but take into account that I have had it for only a month. As of now no freezing or skipping and it was easy to connect to my TV. I had to review the TV manual for my Bravia XBR-850B because HDMI inputs 1 and 2 are 4K compatible 3 and 4 are not.

I"m not expert, and this is my first Blu-Ray player, but so far, so good. It was easy to hook up to the TV. It has features that I haven't figured out yet, but I'm working on joining the rest of the streaming world. (I m a little behind on technology.)

love this player - works well - automatically plays when the player is powered on and disc is inserted - no trying to find a source on the TV - interfaces with the Sony TV quit well

This player is great but they need to come out with a firmware update as it locks up many times and I have to unplug the unit to get it running again. Lots of reviews have stated this problem

Setup based upon recommendation by Best Buy sales guy to plug in directly to TV and then use digital audio out through sound bar ensuring the best picture quality and sound. Awesome viewing experience using a Sony 4K OLED tv

I got this on a deal of the day! So happy I did. I currently have the XBR900f TV and the picture from my new Bluray player allows my TV to show its true capabilities. (Also nice as my Sony remotes all work with no need to connect).

I’ve tried several blu-Ray players over the last few years. This one is the best. First of all, I love Sony products! Secondly, this product definitely lives up to its promise to provide high res video, audio & versatility.

This machine replaces a old Sony Blu-ray player that quit working. So far pretty decent machine. Fast loading and quiet operation. Do miss the LED numbers on the older machines. This one is pretty much all plastic.

I purchased one of these before, liked it so well decided to update the player in another room with a 2nd one! never had a problem and the quality is fantastic!

I have used it to watched close to 9 hours of 4K video since purchase 3 weeks ago, and it has performed flawlessly. Very happy with it. I cannot think of anything thing else I would expect it or need it to do.

Movies look great in this however there were quite a few times my movies did freeze up. I'm not sure why this happens but it has several times. The interface is a bit lackluster

Very pleased with the picture quality. The speed of the opening and closing of the tray is also a plus. It's much faster than every other player I've owned.

Often when I try to watch Prime it says the application is too large to open. Mind you, I can go to my laptop or even my phone and stream it at that very moment; I just prefer to watch on my TV.

This was a major step up from my old Panasonic player. I got it to go with my new 4k TV but had no idea the phenomenal sound quality it had. It made my old surround system sound like a new one.
