Paired with my Samsung Q7F, the video playback is the best I've seen - even with Blu-ray disks. Did experience the glitch people talk about when playing a 4k movie, where the video starts breaking up and then freezes the player. Since I knew about it, was able to stop the video before it froze the player, and was able to start playback from where it stopped without the glitch happening again.

This 4K Player has the same Features as the Sony UBP-X800 the only Differences is that it has the Audio Red and White Connection for the Home Theater Connection for a more Sound Exxperience. And that there is a LCD Screen on the Player and the Plug In is Different and it is build in Premium Construction and I'm the 4th Person in the USA to Own this Special Player. :)

Lot of research went into this before a purchase. The connection versatility and upgraded build quality were the features that made this a best choice for me. No problems with it and it performs to perfection.

I have UHP-1, UBP-X800 and now this. This is marginally better than 800. I needed another player and wanted to try to step up over 800 unit. Price was good as it was open box, so I took a leap. Keeping it as I am very pleased with unit.

Great picture and sound. Extremely versatile. Blu-ray Discs look better than ever. Streaming quality also great. Had some help setting up because my system is odd. Probably need no help with basic or state-of-the-art systems. Highly recommended

If you are looking for a high end and expensive 4K player well, here it is. The mid point player is the UBP-X800 and offers the same quality but with less hardware. It has 2 HDMI ports and fiver optic audio connection. You won't regret it!!

Bought this because the original 4K Ultra BD Player I wanted wasn't in stock. The transport feels sturdy and the picture quality is excellent. 3D Blu-Rays also play without a hitch. Only thing missing is Dolby Vision.

I bought this since they no longer make the OPPO players. I replaced my LG and cant say Im not disappointed. Picture is unbelievable and sound with my Martin Logan system is beyond my expectations.

The 4K /Uhd player is great I use it a lot as there is not much 4K content out there yet but very fast Load times and easy to use

very heavy. you can not activate xfinitiwifi on this device because you can not enter any page. you can not download applications does not work this device the best is the Samsung m9500 do not buy this sony

The best 4K 3D Blu-Ray player I have ever seen. It does everything and more. I haven't tried the 3D yet, but I will as soon as I buy some movies.

This player is a wonderful addition to any 4K TV. Plays almost all available movie discs out there - DVD, Blu-Ray, 3D, 4K. It also has built in wi-fi for updates or streaming.

This Blu-ray player has incredible color and makes the sound even better. It’s pricey, but well worth the money. You will not be disappointed in this product. I recommend it.

I'm building a home theater featuring all Sony video equipment. I have a 4K projector, A/V Receiver and blu-ray. Sony to me is the very best in video and audio.

Got this coz I wanted an Atmos featuring 4K player. Did not disappoint at all. Connect this with a decent surround system and movies sound great.

Beautiful 4K picture quality and seems good with music. It has features I have not tried but does seem high quality. Very easy and works seamless with Bravia tv.
