good quality , still be used , great unit for the price point , as described

Ok I’m impressed with my new 4K Blu-ray player. I had to replace my old tv and old DVD player and was having a hard time choosing a Blu-ray player and this one was on sale so I got it and was so glad I did. Very easy to hookup and use. Great picture and clarity on movies.

Sony has always produced high quality video and audio equipment. This is a great 4K ultra HD Blu-ray player.

I stream movies constantly - even from Apple. I never thought much of the HEVC/h.265 compression until I finally bit the bullet and bought a 4k bluray player. Holy-freaking-cow, the depths of the colors is so much richer! I also like the idea of actually owning my media rather than hoping the services I buy things through will still have it there when I want to watch it. I am sick and tired of all of this rent seeking behavior from corporations.

This player has all the bells and whistles for a great price. This is great as it upgrades even older DVD's to better quality. So, if you have a stack of DVD's like I do purchase this!

I bought this to replace three other 4k blu ray players that I have purchased from different manufacturer's over an 18 month period. All of them had serious issues of one kind or another. So far, this one has NONE of those issues. Good quality player that does what it's supposed to do.

The Best is always the right choice. Easy set-up and easy to operate. Made all my DVD's look great.

This is a very good Bluray Player with quality picture and sound. The only thing I did not like are the apps that are available to download are not very extensive, very limited to the few big names. I therefore minused one star for this. Otherwise the player is very nice, just not a good variety streaming device too.

Great blu-ray player, the 4k looks great on the 4k TV provided you have a 4k product to view. Easy set up. Nice feature that automatically changes the input to the player when inserting the media, or at least did on a Samsung 4K TV. No complaints at all.

A great little 4K player if you need to run audio and video from separate HDMI cables. I have an older receiver that will not pass through 4K signals. The video goes directly to the TV and the audio can go to the receiver for surround sound with no compatibility issues.

DVD player was easy to install with my smart tv. Good product, good price. I needed no extra cables, everything was in the box. If I need one for the bedroom, I would buy again.

Very nice player and crisp and clean picture quality!

Can't put my finger on how I rate this unit. The picture is amazing, the sound CAN be amazing, but the sound can also be very mediocre (all sound tested with Blu Ray DVD's and 4k UHD DVD's). I doubt that of the near 30-35 4k UHD DVD's I've purchased, near 60% have issues (freezing at parts). After turning off and restarting all theater equipment, sometimes more than once, the DVD's will play smoothly, though this should not be the case. It's difficult to test so many movies on a unit within 14 days to be able to return the unit if not working properly, so I have to keep testing (after 1 month) to figure out if it's the unit, the DVD's or my poor handling of the DVD's. Granted with such garbage DVD cases used these days, poor handling seems likely, but not the cause. Picture is a 5, Sound is either a 3 or 5, but proper functioning (freezing while playing mid-movie) is a harsh 1.5-2 stars.

The Sony DVD player has exceptional picture quality.

The Sony-UBPX700/M Blue-ray player is a game changer. Now I can stream and play blue-ray with ease.

This is my third one of these players. one for each tv. the m version must be the newest one. looks the same ,but this is a great little player. picture images are first class and 4k and bluray movies look outstanding. also it has dolby vision and sounds great too.

The player does exactly as advertised. I could wish that it had more atreaming options, but as a player for 4k discs it gets the job done at an affordable price
