Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good price and beautiful picture, but for some reason I get audio skipping, where my movie goes silent for about half a second every 30 seconds to 2 minutes or so. Working on finding the culprit in the settings, but haven't tracked it down yet. But most electronics work pretty well out of the box, so it's annoying that this isn't working well.

The good...picture looks great when you're playing 4K discs. The bad is the limited apps (and I mean very limited) that are available are glitchy when you use them. If you only use the player just for 4k discs, you're fine,

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve owned this player for 4 years. It plays blu rays really well. 4k movies is another story. Most will freeze at points of the movie. It’s very annoying and I’ve tried many tips (disc cleaning) due to off gassing and also made adjustments to player settings to no avail. I would say if you can spend a little more stay away from the Sony players and upgrade to Panasonic UB-820. That is my plan next year. 4k collecting is not a cheap hobby and it’s disappointing that majority of movies freeze on this player.
