Thanks was my first 4K player. Ever since streaming has been a thing I have not used a disc player, but I do love collecting physical media. So I started a collection of movies and bought this player to play them. And it looks fantastic! Very sharp picture with great color (using Dolby vision). And the discs that just have HDR still look amazing. The sound quality is top notch and I've never had any problems. The only problem Ive had with this player is sometimes I just get a black screen and I have to unplug it. But besides that (and even then it's a small problem) I totally recommend this!

This is a fairly high quality UHD player. Not a high end player, but works well and price tag is under $200, which yes is ridiculous, but the least expensive real UHD player. Typical Sony interface, which will be familiar and easy to use for anyone with Sony experience. Small enough that we can take it with us when we travel. Would purchase it again.

Great player. Picture quality is better than I have ever seen. Easy to install and use. I highly recommend this product to who ever is looking for a quality player.

This unit is better than the LG that it replaced in every way. The upscaling is superb, it's a great size, and the remote even works well!

I've owned the x800 older model for 3 years but wanted to upgrade for the HDR. Purchased open box excellent should come with all items was missing the HDMI cord no big deal but the Blu-ray player wasn't even wrapped in the box. Dolby vision was awesome sent it back just due to missing items second one wouldn't even play a 4K Blu-ray and I tried eight of them getting the X800M2 open box instead.

Sony always gets my vote. This small, compact, UHD player is the right size and fits in a very tight spot. The picture and sound output is spectacular.

Pic quality and ease of use are excellent I had to purchase a new one because I did not use it for over 6 months and it would not let me do a software update via internet nor via flash drive also wouldn’t load apps nor play Blu-ray/4k discs reset to factory initial setup still didn’t work terrible software problems if you don’t use player often otherwise everything else hardware side is top notch

This thing is aesome. Worth every penny. Its good quality and brand. The price is reasonable especially if you can get it onsale!

Great Quality. Picture and sound are awesome. Enjoy watching movies on Blu-ray on this player. It really brings out better graphics and sound. On DVD too.

Small size unit that fits perfectly in a slim down media cabinet. The small size still delivers 4k quality picture.

This Sony blu-ray player replaced my first blu-ray player from 2009-ish that has finally started erroring regularly. I found it very disappointing that this new player seems to use the same unaesthetic software that very cheap blu-ray players use... doesn't fit with Sony's standard tv software at all. The remote and chassis of the player seems cheap and lackluster, compared to the older blu-ray model that I had. All that being said, the picture and sound quality from this player is unmistakably better. I just wish they didn't cheap out on the physical product and software.

Like a lot the picture looks great and the sound is amazing easy setup streaming looks good and the remote esay operations

Excellent quality and ease of use (intuitive etc.). Probably has more features than I need, but I suppose they might be helpful if my TV situation ever changed :)

Nice picture, simple medium size consol. The menu is bland,and not much to it, my very old sony blu-ray player has a better menu than this one. Although, it does what it's supposed to do.

So far it is doing what I needed it too. I'm not sure what all it does.

Much faster than the previous DVD/Blueray player that we had. Very easy to set up and use. Beautiful picture and great sound.
