Easy to hook up with nice features. Glad to have easy access to Netflix and other platforms. Even comes with an HDMI cable so everything in one box.

Excellent blueray with hd 4k. Easy to use interface with no challenges setting up

What a great 4k player! This machine has many great features which combined with Black Friday price of a $100 less than regular price, makes it a superb deal. Makes every disk look great on my television that isn't 4k. Hard to believe that the picture quality can get any better. Sony quality is prevalent in this device.

I love this. The picture and sound are phenomenal. It's one quirk is it's a little slow in between hitting the button and the action taken, but just by an extra second or two. I mention this only because it's helpful to know so you don't keep hitting the button thinking it didn't take. Overall it's excellent.

Great DVD/Blu-reay player. Easy to setup and use. Great quality picture on my 4K TV. I am pleased with it. Sony makes great products.

Great value for the money. Works as advertised and i have had no issues. There are more expensive players but not worth it unless you hate switching dolby vision on/off manually. I actually may prefer it this way because my sony a80j doesn't do dolby vision well so i wouldn't want it being forced on me. I like having that control. Player stays cool, runs silent, and has never had issues playing any 4k disc or blu-ray. Pairs well with sony a80j. Honestly, this player is really all you need.

I’ve had my eye on upgrading our living room Blu-ray player for a while, and Black Friday pricing with some rewards was the final motivation. Small footprint for this player. Regular Blu-ray’s even look nice with upscaling. Loads fast. This thing blows away my old Samsung 1080p 3D Blu-ray player. Very happy with the couple of 4K blurays I’ve played. Seems crisper than even any 4K streaming content. Don’t use the smart features so can’t comment on that but always nice to have wifi enabled for any firmware updates.

Great machine for the price. I only use it for UHD disks and it works great. Have not tried streaming on it and not planning to.

Easy to set up. You can set up in the menu what kinds of discs you want to play and the sounds you want to. Sounds amazing with my surround sound.

This was easy to set up and as an open box item, I wasn't sure if it would work well, but it does. The quality is great with the right 4K HDMI cable.

Good bang for the buck. Plays Dolby Vision titles along with Dolby Atmos sound and yet, cheaper than the other competitors.

It is great and a good price. I got tired and annoyed at all the streaming services starting to charge more for movies and have advertisements during what used to be FREE programming. I have hundreds of DVD and BluRay movies so I figuratively dusted them off and am now enjoying movies again,

This blu-ray player works very nicely for playing 4K blu-ray discs, as well as other discs. However, the streaming apps are subpar. There are only a few of them, and Netflix, for example, won't stream Dolby Atmos sound. Also, it still requires setting Dolby Vision manually, compared with many other players that automatically switch to Dolby Vision based on the input. If streaming apps aren't important and you don't mind doing Dolby Vision manually, this is a good player to have.

What you are buying UHD player for. Not only no problems, but actually improved my large-set TV experience. I am able to use the player to stream some apps that the LG will not load, and of course the disc-source picture is really (really!) great. A suitable HDMI cord is included, even though I'm not sure the box says so.
