Good unit, easy to set up, moderately priced and Sony quality. Made the purchase to upgrade my old Blu-ray after I learned that it wouldn't play 4K content... the picture is sharp, audio is good and it didn't break the bank.

Nothing but praise for this Sony Dolby Vision ultra Blu-ray player. Handles everything I throw at it, sound and picture top quality. Sony has one more model up in this range but I really don't see any benefit to getting it. The only difference is the build quality is a little more solid but what other than that this is the one to get.

Quality Sony DVR Player. Works great for DVR and Blu-Ray Disks. Audio & Video playback are perfect. I have not used for streaming yet. The unit is mounted in an RV. I will see how it holds up to bouncing down the highway for extended periods of time.

This is my first standalone BR player (not counting ps4/5) Over all I like the size and build quality but had higher expectations Things that I did not like 1- no usb port in the back, when connecting external HDD, I would want the wires tucked in the back . Also the usb player interface could be Better. 2- 3d play back would often go out of synch. Since ps5 doesn’t support 3d playback (shame on Sony) this is an important feature. 3- remote is clunky. I couldn’t get used to operating it in dark when watching a movie and almost l always pressed the wrong button. The button layout is not user friendly.

It works wonderful. Plays blue ray fine. Makes the movies look realy good.very pleased with my purchase.

I got this awhile back. I wanted to be able to play some new Dolby Atmos blue rays along with some of my older DVDs. & this fits the bill, even came with an HDMI cord. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

Overall, I'm very happy with this blu-ray player. Playing movies and media from a USB is great, as expected. If I had one small gripe (very small), it would be the number of streaming apps available. I'd rather just use my Apple TV or Fire Stick.

Best DVD player I ever. And there is so much more to this UBP-X700/M. The background the movies that use to be so dark I could hardly see the people. Now it is so much better now that I can see the people.

When my last Sony brand DVD player quit after many years of excellent service I went out and bought another. This new DVD player has the same excellent quality. I trust the Sony brand for their reliable products.

We have a lot of DVDs, and have 2 other DVD players. But we needed a third one for our main TV. We love it. It was very easy to set up, and we are enjoying watching our DVDs.

This is an excellent DVD player. I love that I can fast forward or reverse the video. Great for finding that special segment or favorite actor. And then you can watch that part over and over again! Easy to set up, easy to use!

This Blu-ray player offers great performance for a very reasonable price. This was an added piece of a 4K+ upgrade to the entire AV system. Added 4K HDMI cables and picture quality is very good! Movies are vivid and clear and makes viewing experience so much better. Very small so easy to make room in a cabinet or shelf.
