Spectacular quality! This player is simple to use and has great features such as a separate HDMI audio out, allowing you to bypass audio through the TV and going straight into a audio receiver. This allows you to get the maximum benefits of your receiver if it does not support tech such as Dolby Vision.

The Samsung 55” smart tv was a smart purchase, great clarity, color balance and ease of operation; quality worth the price. The Samsung sound bar is a perfect complement to the tv. On time delivery, Geek Squad efficiently set up the tv, assigned the correct settings and explained how the remote worked, all in just an hour. A “painless” experience.

I really like this 4K player. Sony makes really good video products.

It’s an ok blu ray player for the money, used for CD’s, blue ray, and internet interface to AV receiver. Biggest gripe is the remote is small and buttons are too close together and requires looking instead of press by feel.

Purchased this on the Black Friday sale along with an LG C1 OLED TV. The performance of this 4K Ultra HD Blu-Ray player compares favorably with the Oppo and Sony ES 4K Ultra HD Players I have for the other OLED TVs. Two nice bonuses are the Dolby Vision capabilities and the included HDMI cable. I'm happy with the purchase.

Extremely easy initial set up. It was nice that my Samsung TV remote also controlled the video such as pause and play. For a 10-year old DVD, the video improvement was very noticeable. I appreciate the thoroughness of including the specific type of HDMI cable needed to yield the best results as recommended in the manual.

So overall I’m satisfied with this Ultra HD Blu-ray player. Super fast start up time. Great picture! The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five was bc there is no display on the front to let u know basic info about what movie you’re watching, time left...etc. other than that it’s a Sony...works really well.

Easy tp set up and quality great picture and sound

Ok so this is my 4th Sony 4K blue Ray player. Each one has issues of locking up frozen, resulting in having to unplug just to get it to power back off and on. This one did the same thing one day after Best Buy installed it. I had one sent off by Geek Squad for repair stating it needed a new part. However, the part was back ordered for so long Best Buy sent me a new Sony blue Ray player. When it does work it’s wonderful, but the unplugging is a hassle. A geek squad tech told me the Sony updates tend to freeze the system. Sony used to be a great product, but not so much any more.

An inexpensive 4K Ultra Blu-ray player that delivers quality and ease of use.

Bought for my parents and it's awesome and easy to use.

Nice upgraded from my previous LG 4k dvd player. Most of all due to no buzzing noise when playing 4k discs. 4k discs look extremely sharp and the audio output to my soundbar sounds very good.

DVD player easy to setup and use. The features are easy to use.

Was initially surprised when I found no remote when I unboxed this. But since I have a Sony TV, the remote for the TV can control the Blu-ray player. Never use this for streaming, 4k discs look great and the 1080p upscaling to 4k also looks good. One main issue I’ve had is overheating (I think). Take this with a grain of salt though because mine is set up inside an entertainment center, but not completely enclosed from air circulation. Normally around the 2 hour mark in a movie, it will stop similar to how a scratched disc stops. I take very good care of my discs and this happened about every other time I use the device. The solution is to just remove the disc and put it pack in, but it is annoying to have to go into the menus and select the scene where you left off and hope you don’t have to rewind or fast forward back to your original point. Can also be used as a streaming box, but I don’t do that since modern TVs already have the streaming apps.

Great player but remote is way too small. Great pic and sound upgrades to 4k
