Works great so far with regular dvd's and hooked right up with my Samsung sound bar. Had to use the HDMI cable to the TV to benefit the Dolby Atmos. Haven't tried steaming since we already have it on the TV and waiting for Blu-ray DVD to show up to see how it looks on our new TV.

The player is good quality. I'm not pleased with some of 4K movie quality though. Too much inconsistencies with how the transfers are done. Some movies are way too dark, and many do not have Dolby atmos sound.

Bought this to be able to get the most out of my new Samsung s90c. It works easily, paired with tv easily and and easy to navigate.

This works pretty nicely when I watch a film and show. Don't use it much for streaming though the HDR seems to bright so I turned it off. Recommend this for anyone looking for anyone looking to afford a 4K Blu-ray.

The player works fine but you have to watch out for hitting buttons too fast. The player gets confused and goes dormant. Disconnect and reconnect power solves this. I did discover Tubi on the player which I like a lot since I don't have satellite/cable service

Seems to be of high quality; great picture. Like many BD/DVD players, it sends signals to the receiver even when not in use at times, which affects the receiver input.

I bought this DVD player to replace a 24 year old Sony DVD player that just died! So far it works fine and I can still play my older DVD’s as well as new Blue Ray. It is smaller than the old one and if it lasts as long it should be the last DVD player I’ll need!

Purchased as a gift for my son. He reported that the first one we bought was defective out of the box and the tray would not open. returned to Best Buy and received a replacement. My son reported that it works great and the picture and sound are great.

It's a solid DVD player. I purchased this DVD player due to its ability to play a variety of media. Primarily the CD-R as I have a number of digital instructional videos I have burned to DVD so I can watch and perform the task at the same time, or pause & rewind easily.

Great product! Simple to install, nothing to learn. Very portable, should the need arise and very 'automatic' as well. Turn it on, plug in a dvd and the video source changes automatically.

I bought an open box unit that was labeled condition "excellent" but when I opened the shipment the remote was missing. I don't think missing key components of the product qualifies for "excellent" condition. Customer service was nice but didn't really offer any solutions othet than a return. Otherwise I really like the player.

When it comes to viewing 4K movies, the player can make all the difference. When paired with a Sony Bravia, there's not a better 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray in the market. Of course, that's just my opinion, but we have never been disappointed in Sony quality.

This Sony BluRay player replace an over ten year player. I love that direct sight line is not needed for the remote. The quality, size and features are great. It seamlessly networked with our Wi-Fi and other equipment.

Junk! I am disappointed to spend my time and energy installing a new piece of equipment (an expensive one at that) just to have to repackage and return the thing. Don't waste your money. It freezes, it doesn't respond anymore unless I unplug it and replug it. When it does work the picture and sound are great but not worth the trouble. And like other reviews have stated, when you pause and come back, the sound doesn't kick in right away. This unit should cost no more than $50 in my opinion.

It was totally different from my old bluray player. It took a little getting usde to, but works great

Works great found out it plays 3-D movies have a few in my collection it has been fun watching them.

Great picture and reliable player. We use it for Redbox and their dvds are not always in the best condition. This player reads them perfectly every time

It works beautifly with my new Sony AN1000 amp and my 55inch 4k Sony bravia. Great surround fills the room
