DVD player works great. Had assistance from Geek Squad for installation which was very helpful!

Works well with the smart tv. Insert a disk and it automatically switches to the movie. Set up was relatively easy except for i needed to push one of the colored buttons to get capital letters for my network password. Gives excellent picture quality

It has good upscaling and does everything it needs to plus some extras. Only complaint is the price.

An excellent 4K and up converting Blu Ray and DVDs. I have an extensive collection of DVDs and they look as good as Blu Rays on this machine. An excellent value!!!

It does everything one would expect it to do. Picture quality is excellent with Ultra Bul-ray, Blu-ray and even my old DVDs.

My wife needed a better DVD player for her 4K TV and found this from Sony, great price and features, hooked right up and the wife is happy.

Two things that are bad about this player. 1 is annoying, the other is inexcusable. It has dolbyvision but you have to change the settings on the player on or off before playing a dolbyvision movie. Thats the annoying one. 2, it freezes on triple layer disks which is the inexusable one. We buy these to get superioir picture and sound above streaming and then we buy a data filled disk that highlights the difference between the two, it becomes unwatchable.

Way better than our older Blu-ray player that we replaced. And the best part is that it automatically integrated with our sound bar where our old one never would. Picture quality is excellent as well.

The Sony 4K player was a good investment! Watching movies is like being in the theater!!!

Purchased this as "open box" excellent. I have not been disappointed. It works great and I saved myself a few bucks.

This player is mostly fine but it gags on triple layer 4k discs. It even has some issues with layer changes on regular Bluray discs. My experience has been either complete lockup of the player or it will freeze for a non-insignificant amount of time and skips ahead a few seconds or minutes. You'd think since this is a Sony player, the company who developed Blu-ray, they would be able to make a player without these issues. Outside of this, it outputs a great picture even with regular Bluray discs which it upscales. I wouldn't buy this unless it's heavily discounted.

Worked perfectly right out of the box (As expected). It took about 5 minutes to remove the old one snd setup the new one.
