Thank you for sharing your experience. We sincerely apologize that your UBP-X700M player has developed issues with playback after working well initially. We understand how frustrating it is when a device doesn't perform as expected.
We want to help you quickly resolve this so you can get back to enjoying your content. Please try the following sequence of troubleshooting steps, testing the player after each one:
1. Power Cycle the Player:
First, unplug the player from the wall outlet for approximately two minutes, and then plug it back in. This often clears any minor system errors.
2. Check for the Latest Software:
Ensure your player is running the most current software version, as updates often contain critical bug fixes that can resolve playback issues.
Go to Setup > Software update > Update via Internet.
3. Reset to Factory Settings:
If the issue persists, a complete system reset can restore optimal performance settings.
Go to Setup > Resetting > Reset to Factory Default Settings > All settings > Start.
Once the reset is complete, press OK. Then turn the player off for a few seconds, and then turn it back on.
