The box was in perfect shape but the DVD player didn't work. The supplied remote wouldn't turn it on, or eject the disc or anything. The remote did turn my Sony TV on and off though. I tried the DVD player on multiple TVs and no picture or sound. Returned and bought a different model.

We sincerely apologize that the player did not work out of the box, despite the packaging being in perfect condition. We understand how frustrating it must have been to find that the player would not power on, and we appreciate you trying it on multiple TVs. It is good to know, however, that the supplied remote was able to operate your Sony TV.

The bottom of the box was open, and missing the power cable. I'll let you know how it is after I get a new cable from amazon on Monday.
