This player rocks! Apparently it may ruin your streaming experience when you watch ultra 4K dvd’s. Not cheap but you get what you pay for.

Streaming works sometimes Netflix flickers randomly only in menu, bluray4k randomly lock up brand new out of box, not the Sony quality I was hoping for

The old one passed away and serve us well so we bought this one which is a upgrade from the old one. This brand we have not had a problem so we are pleased and hope this one has a full life like the other one.

I always buy Sony for its dependability. Still use my 1990 Sony cd player. Needed a 4k UHD player so it had to be Sony. Fits perfectly with my home intertainment system.

replaced and old blue ray with our upgraded smart tv and surround sound system , was a great addition to our tv viewing , use it when cable goes out or when we just want that blue ray experience . sony is a great brand. recommend this blue ray player.

Love the refrigerator,washing machine and dryer. Glad I made the change. The associate that sold them to me and the installers couldn’t have been more professional and courteous. Went back to Bedt Buy and brought my granddaughter an Apple tablet recently.

I've had this player for a little under a year and there have been absolutely NO hangups with this unit whatsoever! I highly recommend this Sony product and no, I am NOT affiliated with the company... Lol!

amazing product, but somehow I got it without a remote and that is becoming a hassle

The player starts up fast and works great so far. The streaming leaves A LOT to be desired, as there are only about a dozen choices including Netflix and Amazon Video. Even though the Hulu app is included, it doesn't work and says "no longer supported on this device." No Disney+ either. We hoped this would be a better solution for streaming at home, but I guess we'll continue to use our ChromeCast instead.

Fanrastic value at 160. I needed a blueray dvd player and this checks all the boxes. Bonus that it is also a streaming device. I haven't even looked at that yet. It's easy to set up etc

Really thought I had a winner here but apparently this player has a lot of issues it's it skips stops and plays when it wants to when it comes to 4K only wait I try to fix it within the settings to no Avail.returned it within a week

This player is a wonderful true 4K Ultra HD unit. Easy setup, and crystal clear and smooth operation. Highly recommend this model.

Did my homework, and this fit my needs. Sony is a quality brand name and I have had good luck with the number of Sony products I have.

It works well nothing to complain about and time will tell if works as expected. It’s possible that my expectation is very high.

Fantastic BD Player - haven't found a thing to complain about yet, except for I can't find the setting to disable auto-on when you turn on the TV.

Great Product! Great turn around time I ordered it one day the next it was delivered. A++ Much Better than the industry. It work out of the box, Sony Had some features that made it worthwhile. They supplied all the cables and good Instructions.

We upgraded our TV to a 55” Sony Bravia and felt the need to upgrade the DVD player. The first movie we watched was Avatar and the colors were clear & vivid. Well worth the upgrade.

I have had nothing but good luck with Sony Blu-ray players so it’s all I buy. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is I feel like the interface could be more visually appealing instead of looking like “here’s your Blu-ray player, this is what you get”.

It seems to like to pause several times during playback, like it's buffering. You have to stop playback, restart, then fast forward to where you were. I checked to see if the unit had the latest firmware, and it does. It's a SONY, it should work great...it doesn't.

I purchased this item at a savings of about $200. The pickup was fast and courteous. The item is great for it's price.
