Nice Blu-Ray player, very easy to set up and works well. It seems that it gets confused if different remotes are used with it, and it locks up if that happens. The workaround is to use the proper remote.

Bought this right after I got OLED Sony and a Denon receiver. It will play any kind of disc you put in this thing. CDs, SACD 5.1, DVDs especially the 4K ones. For $200 there is nothing close. I mean nothing.

I see some people complaining about this 4k player because it only has about 3 streaming apps available. I have a Roku stick for my streaming apps. I bought this 4k player for blu ray disc's only and it has fantastic picture quality and sound. Definitely worth the money. It plays all types of dvd's.

I really like this player. The sound options are a little annoying to configure, but once you get it figured out, the audio and video are high quality.

It's exactly what I've come to expect from Sony... a high quality product that delivers a great picture.

This is an overall good 4K bluray player. I have not tried SACDs on it yet. Good quality picture and sound. Remote is easy to use. It does sometimes lose sound synch when I page through a bluray. Also, it weill sometimes forget where I was if I quit watcheing a dics and try to come back to it later. The older Sony unit I had was better in this respect.

Thi sis my first 4K bluray player. I wanted it to be able to play movie files as well as 4K discs. Streaming apps are a given on these players but make sure that the apps you want are still supported by the player. I am happy with this product - it does all that I ask and tje picture does not disappoint!

I love this player on my new Sony X900H. Other than their quirks about Dolby Vision, you have to manually engage the feature, the combination really has upgraded my home theater system. I was skeptical about the chasing really improving the sound over the PS4 I was using but it does sound cleaner with a slight upgrade in clarity.

As a fan of Sony TVs and Pro equipment, I was looking to upgrade to 4K. And this is a great player. While not having the same level of processing as the vaulted Oppo 103, it has great color, depth and contrast, with little to no banding. Personally, the player is at its best, when the enhancements are turned off.

Not connected to a Dolby Vision television, so having to manually switch that feature on is not a concern for me. I have played many formats including 3D blu-ray, DVD-Audio, SACD, DTS CD, Dolby Atmos, and multiple formats on the USB drive. Only froze on me one time so far. For the money (on sale), it's hard to beat.

We have watched several Blu-Ray movies and 1 4K movie during the mont we have owned it. It automatically pairs with my Sony TV with the HDMI connection. Everything looks great. Easily connected to my Wifi. Absolutely no issues so far. I purchased it on sale so it was relatively easy on the pocket book.

This unit is the best built 4K player that I own. It has a metal base frame and is heavy. It is like the first dvd players that I bought which were made like a tank. This is not your usual cheap plastic trash. I expect to have several years of service and the picture quality is amazing.

This is my second Sony 4K player. When it comes to disc players, I have used Sony exclusively for Blu-ray and never have been disappointed. This particular unit is solidly built and doesn’t feel cheap. Also it is full component width and matches the rest of the system.

I would have given this 5 stars because the video was exceptional and the audio was exceptional, BUT... I also tested it against the Panasonic UB420. The 420 was noticeably better in certain shots in certain movies for 4K and 1080p. The Sony's audio processing is still better though, but if you're that much into audio, you probably already have better audio gear.

Plug and play! Up mixes with rEsPect! I use it for music videos. Selection of music format is a bit weird, just let it do it’s thing.
