Best Picture. Amazing ATMOS sound. Very Easy to use.

Love this blu ray player. Goes great with my Sony XR-65A95L TV. Outstanding picture between the two.

Gave as a gift, they are happy with it. It has great sound and picture. It does what it's supposed to. Links in with their system easily.

Good Blu Ray player. It offers very little for extra internet connections like music or movie apps. Thats the Only downfall. I would say its also a little too wide. As its new on the market it may take some time until they get smaller and offer more apps. I would recommend this to others though.

I had purchased the Sony UBP X800M Streaming 4K Ultra HD Hi-Resolution Audio Wi-Fi Built-In Blu-Ray Player in 2017. This is the latest version of the one I already had and it's even better than the original one. If you love 4K Ultra HD movies like I do then you won't be dissapointed!

Outstanding playback with fantastic sound! Video portion is truly immersive and rich (depending upon your monitor/TV, of course). I have had nothing but great experiences with this unit.

This is an excellent DVD player. Compared to the other high end players, this gets the job done. Real easy to navigate and use; options galore to tweak the pic how you'd like.

The difference between a standard blu-ray picture and the 4K picture doesn't seem like it would be noticeable, but it is so much better. The features on the player (streaming Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime) are nice, but it would be better to allow downloadable apps (like Disney+, Peacock, etc.)

I am very happy with the Sony DVD you did that I purchased at Best Buy. The salesperson was awesome and highly recommended this Sony unit. It was a little more than I planned on spending but I know Sony's good equipment and it complements my Samsung TV Soundbar and subwoofer

If you have a collection of SACD or DVD-Audio discs this is the AFFORDABLE player to get. It matches the OPPO which is no longer available except at eBay etc. where the prices are exorbitant. The video portion of this player is excellent with all types of DVDs. Substantial weight and build. Highly recommend.

This is the second time I’ve purchased this model, one for the living room and the other in the master bedroom. Amazing quality picture

Amazing value for money. Great UHD player considering there are no new ones being released. Works with my Sony TV like a charm. Upscaling delivered as well.

While it does a great job when it works, it doesn't really work very good at least half the time. While I bought this to replace another Sony player that was having issues I only inherited more. Examples: -It will fault out during Prime viewing and/or other streaming content. The only fix is to shut it off and reboot the darn thing. -The remote won't work with my Sony receiver and vice versa, even though they are about the same age/series. So much for "universal" remote language. -The remote will turn on the old Sony DVD player and confuse my Sony receiver often making start ups and shut downs a lot of fun. The only reason I keep the DVD player hooked up is because the newer player doesn't always boot back up so if I want to finish watching something I have to use the older Sony player which has fewer glitches than the newer one. My previous Sony receiver lasted over 20 years and worked well. Given all the flaws and performance issues of the newer units I have to say I will never buy another Sony product again.

Replaced non UHD Sony. Easy swap out. Incredible picture!! Hope I can figure out how to sync it with my old Harmony remote. I would recommend this to others....truly I am astounded by the picture quality.

Had to replace my older blu ray player and this one seems to be really good. Easy to use and plays all my bku rays and dvd's.. the only option to stream is very limited, can't stream HBO max or the latest streaming services. But mainly wanted to replace old player for a new one.

Well worth the money. I upgraded my 4K player from a Sumsung to this Sony model and it has met my expectations. This player has high end features. Picture quality is excellent.

Easy to set up, plays any disc you throw at it, and easily connects to your wireless network for access to a NAS or other services. The picture quality is perfect and it integrates seamlessly to my Sony Bravia TV. Only complaint - no stereo RCA outputs to connect to my dedicated stereo system.

Love this player. I bought mainly for the SACD and DVD-Audio in one player. It does not disappoint. It is whisper quiet and sounds great!

I have this DVD player hooked up to my Sony TV and it is awesome. It allows me to watch home videos I shot on the really small Sony DVD’s from back in the mid to late 2000’s. And with modern 4K DVDs...man they look and sound incredible. Very happy with this purchase.

Excellent player! The 4K upscaling is terrific and Dolby Vision compatible. The downside is you have to turn it on manually, which is easy and fast. Other than that, one of the best 4K players on the market.
