Awesome picture and sound. Just wish they would update it to automatically detect Dolby vision instead of having to manually switch.

Got this for my dad and he loves it! Super intuitive and easy to use! Bought a different brand of blu ray player but it was slow. Decided to return it to buy this awesome Sony one instead.

Sony really blew this one out of the water watching 4k hdr content is simply beautiful. And also any blu-ray and dvds get upscaled perfectly thanks sony for a great machine and thanks best buy for the recommendation.

I love it! It does everything I wanted in a DVD player. Seemed a little pricy but comparing it to a previous one, it is worth it. That ole sayoof getting what you pay for is so true.

Needed to upgrade blu-ray player with new TV purchase. This had great reviews and lives up to them with a great picture and super fast loading! No issues at all with playback, easy to operate.

This player can play all kinds of formats. 4K movies look fantastic. You can also connect with WiFi and Bluetooth. It played a SACD disk Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon and it sounded unbelievable.

Replacement for the previous version that locks up. Less features than previous but faster and easier to use

Had the earlier Sony X800 from about two years ago. It was good - until it just stopped. Bought the M2 version and seems much improved. Faster operation and very clear picture/sound

I have paired this with a new 75” X950G and the picture is incredible. The only negative is having to go into settings and enable/disable Dolby Vision depending on the content, but that is very minor and takes a second.

really good picture quality but have had to reset it a number of times because of power outages. Doesnt accommodate all web sites like vudu or hulu unless i just havent figured it out. Worth the cost and does great on upconverting dvd to 4k ish quality.

Really glad I upgraded from the 700 to the 800 series. Better quality machine with incredible sound and picture quality.

We use this occasionally, but so far it's been great. One thing i like is how quickly it turns on. We have this connected to a 4K TV, and the picture is excellent. Buy it on sale, and you can't go wrong.

Bought in order to watch a 4k DVD I had bought for my daughter and was amazed at the pitcher quality. in playing other DVD's in this player it seemed like their quality was much clearer. very satisficed.

So far I only watched a Blue-ray version of Avatar on this, but it looked outstanding when combined with my new 77" Sony OLED tv.

Good price and product arrived as scheduled. So far, we are happy with the Sony DVD player (it replaced a previous Sony DVD player that quit working post warranty period).

Have been a Sony die hard fan for many years, always love Sony products. This player has good picture quality as I expected, can’t tell the difference compare to a more expensive model(ubp1100es )except the optical input.

Good replacement for failed dvd. Had outputs I needed. Wish it had display but works goid

This works great picture is very good make sure your HDMI cords are in good shape.

The player was just a minor upgrade from my regular 800. It does offer a minor difference and works well for my needs when watching 4K movie disc. A must for any high end TV or home theater.
