Must purchase for Dolby Vision movies. Foolishly the new series x and ps5 don’t have DV playback for movies so I had to buy thus. Need to pair with my LG CX. Bliss!

Actually it’s the best I’ve ever seen a 4K movie on my QLED….BUT one time the player turned off on me for no reason while watching a movie, let’s see how often that happens.

This is what you would expect from Sony, quality. The only issue I have is that it’s loaded with Just 3 applications. I still haven’t figured out how to add things like vudu and Disney+. Otherwise, two thumbs up.

First one would stop mid way thru the uhf disk but play blue ray fine took it back no problem getting a exchange. So far the new one works great. Picture outstanding.

Haven't been able to put it completely through its paces yet but so far it seems to be a great player.

I purchased this dvd player because I had an identical one that was sent out for repair instead of being replaced. What good is warranty and tech support when there are stipulations to both. The first time it went out, it was gone for over a month. a week or so later I had to send it back again. this time its been over a month and still don't have it. Its unlikely I will buy anything major from best buy again. I also bought a fridge from them and it has been serviced 5 times and still doesn't work properly. Tech support and warranties don't cover this either. often things you buy are serviced outside of best buy. I gave a 4 star rating because the sales man that sold me another bluray was very nice but agreed the warranties suck.

Solid build, hoping this is durable and last a long while to justify the price. So far so good. Great 4k picture quality and quite operation & good upscaling, know there is limited app access if that’s important to you. Somewhat difficult to get everything setup if your not tech savvy (what settings should be chosen based on your tv/setup).

I love love it all I can say WOW!!!!! What a difference it makes in the movies

This player has been working perfectly for me for a while now. Love the picture quality. Does a great job with hd Blu-ray’s upscaling them and outputting then at 4K. And 4K Blu-ray’s are excellent of course.

I’ve always been satisfied with Sony players and this one is no exception.

Great player, I purchased a new 4K television so i decided to upgrade the player to match. Also everything is slowly heading that direction know. Gave the old blue ray to one of our kids.

Great 4k Player if you don't have a budget. The only knock on this 4k player is you have to switch the setting for dolby back if the movie isn't dolby

Works great with my LG G3 and the picture is phenomenal

This is a high quality 4k player. It has smart capabilities and makes the most out of a nice 4k tv. It runs extremely silent, unlike cheaper players.

Good Blue Ray player. Disappointed that you can’t add any apps other then what is installed Previous Sony model was able to stream music and add apps such as Disney, Spotify and Sirius XM.

Great DVD. Easy to setup. I like the new remote control.

Really enjoy this blu ray dvd player. It connected easily (so my spouse says) and has worked with no problems.

Sony knocked it out of the ball park bright vivid HDr. Very good HD transfer on your blue rays ,Excellent Dobie vision and sound.

Overall a great 4k player and one of the best available currently. Does take a bit long to load 4k discs, but quality is very nice and build quality is great overall. Recommended!

Works perfectly with new Sony 4k tv and legacy 2000’s surround sound system.
