This UBP-X800M2 Bluray player is the best over the previous sony bluray player that i tried and paired it on sony xbr x950g tv and its an excellent combination. The only reason that i gave 4 stars is because it only streams Netflix and Amazon Prime. Other than that i highly recommend this type of bluray player from sony.

I like this 4k player it not only plays 4k blu-rays but also blu-rays and DVDs, plus SACDs and DVD Audio discs. I hate that in this price range it lacks a front display, so that you have no clue what chapter or time in the movie your at. However this takes the load off y PS5 disc edition that I previously used as a 4k player also. SACDs sound great as well. I use my Logitech harmony 700 to controller everything as intended. You shouldn't have to spend 500.00 or more for a 4k player to get a front panel display, rediculous.

Sony's UBP-X800M2 Streaming 4K Ultra HD Hi-Res Audio Wi-Fi Built-In Blu-Ray Player is worth the cost! At first I wasn't sure because it cost so much. Turns out it's worth it!

Easy to use, geart picture, brilliant colors, and great sounds. Highly recommend. Will get this TV again.

Excellent 4K Blu-ray player and DVD player. Online apps work good. Easy to set up I like it that it has one HDMI for picture and the other Hdmi for the digital sound. It works great with my Sony sound bar and TV with no problems.

The only complaint I have is the limited streaming capabilities. Honestly that doesn't bother me much the upscaling is amazing the picture is so clear on a 4k projector. Definitely do not regret buying this blu ray player.

I was researching for quite a while on which 4K media player to purchase because I felt my PS5 was lacking in potential for physical 4K content. After comparing this and the 700 I’m glad that I made the choice that I did!

Video perfect with this 4k UHD Blu-ray player. Built like a tank as the chassis is aluminum . Weighs about 8 lbs. to dampen micro vibrations produced when spinning high revolutions for 4k content . Outstanding upscalling of standard Blu-ray Disc , very near to 2160 p , near 720 p for dvd disc . Can play virtually any format , and with high resolution audio you truly experience your surround sound home theater. 5 star rated.

Has everything I needed plus USB. Beautiful picture and sound. Hefty player!!! has some weight to it, doesn't feel cheap like some other players do. I love how it only has a tiny little power light, so no bright lights distracting you from your movie.

So Happy with this purchase and this is the first Sony Product that i have the Quality is really great crystal clear picture and reproduce a “cleaner” sound. Sound tuning is really great

So far working like a charm. Had to return the model prior to this one as it kept turning my projector off. This one is built like a tank. Weighs much more and can tell the build quality is very good.

EASY SET UP. COOL MENU. EASY TO USE REMOTE. FANTASTIC BLU-RAY PLAYER. NO 4K EQUIPMENT YET TO SEE HOW IT WILL PERFORM AS SOUND IS CONCERNED.

Had to purchase a higher speed cable for it to work, I bought a 21, think it only requires an 18, otherwise working great easy to configure, connected easily to wireless. Unable to yet comment on dependability long range...but so far a great purchase. Is a rather large box, which I did not expect, so be sure to have room!!!

I've been wanting to upgrade to a 4k player for a while now, and I'm glad I did. I've always liked Sony's products, and this is no exception. The price at BB was almost a no-brainer.

Upgraded from the Sony 700 that kept freezing and shutting down. Did the research and went with the new 800m2. Works excellent and the Dolby Vision works great now that I paired it with the Sony 950G. Love it, love my purchase.

In a time where everything is streamed online. It makes you feel like dvd players are obsolete. I've always loved the feeling of having a movie collection. Kinda the nostaglic feeling when you went to Hollywood video or blockbuster. But this 4k player I got amazes me so much. The small details is what blows my mind away. I love my 4k player.

Works great! Waiting to receive my first 4K DVD to try it out. I've watched a Bluray DVD and it was very good. Again I tried to stay with all Sony products thinking they might work together better. So far, I'm pleased that I did.

Great value for under 300.00. Sounds great and love the ability to use a USB and create my own lists. Having access to internet music and movies is great too.

Good Quality. Makesure you buy used the good hdmi. The quality picture will be much better. Im enjoyed with my family every weekend to see the good movie. Thanks Sonny.
