I needed a universal player and the Sony was the best solution—and not too expensive at that. Heavy, rugged, responsive and works well with my DAC.

I bought this for my wife so that she could watch DVD sets from Germany. This DVD player works great, it determines which language that it is recorded in and offers a single remote step to convert the language to English. I highly recommend this product if you are looking for a Universal DVD player.

Easy setup and great picture all at a great price.

Only problem I have is it occasionally locks up. Have to unplug it and it then works.

This Sony product is exceptional in terms of 4K performance. I am so impressed with this unit that I intend to purchase another one within the next few months to upgrade another much older Sony Blu-ray player located in my den. Definitely worth the price!

The setup was easy, and it produces great picture and sound.

Easy to set-up and use. Playback and features are Great. When on sale an excellent value for the performance. You can pay more for added/coming features or possibly better 4K performance. But you will have to decide if it is worth the extra $$s when in 1-2 years this technology will be superseded.

This Blu-Ray Player was recommended by a Best Buy in Home Theater consultant. I purchased it and am liking it because it has a faster processor.

Bought this Blu-ray thinking that because of the price it was going to be a good one. However, it wasn’t compatible with my Samsung TV. It’s extremely difficult to setup you actually have to go into settings and make sure to adjust every single adjustment according with the TV that you are going to use it with pain in the neck.
