It even offers quick access to Youtube and even Netflix. One very important tip, you should go into the settings options and play around with the audio settings. If you only use the default setting, it may not be the best settings for your setup. So spend a few minutes in the settings menus, especially to change around the audio options.

Thank you for the review and we're glad to hear that you like the Blu-ray player. Power reset the unit, simply unplug the unit and wait 1-2 minutes then plug the device back in and power on. We also recommend playing different disc to isolate the issue. If the situation does not improve, factory reset the Blu-ray player and try again. See page 27 from this link for more details.

Glitchy but good picture

But this is a glitchy Player. They have to be force rebooted when they freeze up. That gets very annoying if it’s in a cabinet and the plug isn’t easily accessible. I bought 2. One for myself and one for my wife’s parents. Both have the same issue. Other than that, I’m pleased.

This Sony DVD player is of excellent quality .

I like the option of the different types of DVDs it will play. I suppose the real test of a product is time. But, so far I’m very happy with this product.

Great quality and very versatile

I am an audiophile and have a lot of hi-res on DVD-Audio, SACD, and Flac files etc. This Sony can handle pretty much anything including MKV Video. Some of the more expensive competitors (Panasonic) can’t do this which is why I went this route. Very happy with it and highly recommended.

Sony said that was just too bad and wouldn't pay to fix. Interface is dated and streaming is limited to Netflix basically. Won't be buying another from Sony.
