Went to upgrade my blue ray player and this unit definitely delivers! Remember, movies are filmed on Sony cameras... makes sense to decode using Sony equipment I’d you want to see the movies as intended!

I bought this unit for my new Sony OLED TV. Makes all my dvds look great. My library Is still Useful with this DVD player. Upscale great works wonderfully, remote is really easy to use. Hookup was a breeze.

Perfect for me because i have a terrific 4k Tv but it is not HDR capable-so, until I get my next display, I will use the HDR-SDR function on this unit(which works very well) My 4k movies look great!

Strong chassis, quiet mechanics, flawless image quality and signal delivery so far. USB plays 4K files great, too! Makes movies at-home a brilliant treat. Worth the upgrade price for top Sony quality.

I bought this model of 4K player because the previous model failed and this was what I paid a bit mor after Geek Squd to replace it. The color and clarity of both my Blu-Rays and 4Ks is noticeably better. Worth the price!

I've had two 4K players and this is #3, and probably the best one around. Everything syncs up with the Sony products that I already have. The quality is absolutely amazing

It's a very nice player for UHD movies and it's also very easy to control it's settings. If you want to delve into the world of 4K UHD you NEED something like this.

The Sony 800M2 does a great job on older blu ray disc as well as 4k blu ray disc. Great sound and clarity. The unit is built like a tank. You will not be dissapointed with this purchase . I highly recommend this unit.

Good quality & versatile disk player. Initially purchased to play legacy DVDs, we find ourselves looking for new disks. Good back-up audio CD player.

This thing weighs upwards of 10 pounds, and until I plugged my first Blu Ray in, I didn't understand why. My movies have never looked so great on this thing. It's not a cheap player, but totally worth it.

What can I say about Sony 4K ultra HD blue-ray player. Gave a great picture, even on my plain DVD's. I am impressed and glad to have purchased it.

Sleek design and looks really good on a desktop. Access times are very slow especially since streaming has been a thing.

Had a 10 year old blu ray player that I needed to replace. Went with this Sony based on all the reviews. Been great so far. The only thing I don't like is that the streaming apps on this one are limited.

Nice Sony 4k player, works well with my new Sony XBR85X900H tv. Very limited on the streaming services...they might as well have skipped them altogether. Not a problem for me as my tv has great streaming capabilities.

This is a great product ! I have been a Sony fan for years … and this checks all the boxes. Very affordable with most of the features needed.
