This 4K player has great playback features for my 4K movies and plays them fast and flawlessly. Great purchase. It’s built very well and sturdy.

It is a wonderful upgrade for my 4K TV. The only drawback is that it doesn’t remember where you left off, so you have to take note if that’s important to you.

I purchased this as part of upgrading my home theatre to 4k HDR and Dolby Atmos. Its a heavy, solid built unit and performance has been excellent.

Compared to my oppo 203 I wasn't expecting a lot with this Sony blu ray player. Watching Jumanji 2 in 4k, the video is clear but not vibrant; however, the reason I returned it is the audio especially the center dialoge channel sounded like it was coming from inside a tin can. Adjustments with my receiver and speakers made no change. I replaced it with a Panasonic DP-UB820 and the difference is night and day.

The xbox x has the 4k player but something about having an actual 4k player makes films look way better

I purchased a new 4K Sony Bravia 65" TV. I had to upgrade my Blue Ray Player because I purchased an Ulta 4K Top Gun Maverick DVD. This Sony UBP-X800M2 4K HD Blue Ray Player is awesome! I saw this Top Gun Maverick at the Regal theater and on the Sony Blue Ray player, it was almost like at the theater!

Plays my 4k Blu-rays, no problem connecting or streaming.

Easy set up. Excellent resolution. Very easy to use.

Loads BluRay DVDs quicker than previous players I’ve owned. Finally back to a unit that at least looks like it is well built. Hopefully will last many years.

This replaced my old DVD player. Great sounds and super grade Video. Had Geek squad install it, but they didnt program it to the internet and pair it to my sound bar.
