One for video, and one for audio. I do not have a 4K receiver but I have a 4K TV so I can still watch 4K and have audio to my receiver at the same time. I also like that there is no display. What do you need it for? You can see the display on you TV whenever you want. It's small but heavy which is good for not moving around.

I have called it a peice of junk and cussed sony a few times. I wont buy another sony anything because of this unit. This is my 2nd one, had the first for 2 years and it was junk too.

This model includes all of the video processing features I wanted without the high-end (and expensive) analog audio components I don’t use since I use an HDMI connection. Excellent value. The chassis could be more robust, like my 2K Oppo., hence the 4 vs 5 star rating on quality. But definitely 5 stars for performance and value.
