Great speaker, highly recommend

The speaker is great for audio in a large room, and is easy to carry/connect. I wanted to try something other than JBL- I would definitely purchase Sony audio equipment in the future for reliability and longevity.

Sony first smaller unit

Works in small spaces and as a replacement for a bose speaker didn't play loud enough when used in a large gym aeribic fitness area. I upgraded to the ult field 5 which solved all probkems but is significanly heavier so noticable when carrying around to jobs 5-6 days a week. Both are great!

All of the high, mid, and low tones sound amazing. The bass using the "ULT" button makes my music sound even better. It's a solid choice for outdoor adventures, casual hangouts, and beach days. Great bass in small package

The bass also hits hard even in such a small format. I take it with me on my courier route and it lasts all day. I haven’t been able to party connect with my Sony zg300 which when looking online it said it should but that hasn’t been a problem for me.

Unfortunately, the ULT FIELD 1 does not support the Party Connect function. The SRS-XG300 cannot be used with the ULT FIELD 1 via the Party Connect function.
The ULT FIELD 1 supports Stereo Pair function and only works by connecting 2 same model (ULT FIELD 1/ULT10) Bluetooth speakers via BLUETOOTH connection so you can enjoy more powerful sound. On the other hand, the SRS-XG300 supports Party Connection function and works with compatible devices that supports the same wireless function such as SRS-XB43, XB33, XB23, XP700, XP500, XG500, XG300, XE300, XE200, LSPX-S3, XV800, XV900, XV500, ULT70, and ULT1000. The sound is excellent and very clear. The speaker is small but powerful. It's the perfect size to pack away on road trips and not take up a lot of space. Great speaker with great sound!

I was surprised by the great sound quality from such a small, affordable speaker. Also not easy to knock over (e.g. by pets), and if it happens, it just rolls over 90 degrees and stops.
