Fills the room and/or spreads sound through the backyard well. Looks great with the LED lighting. Seems that the bluetooth stays connected for a long distance, which is great so I can keep my phone in my pocket while not worrying about connecting to the speaker.

Great Speaker Would Recommend

Never really used it for parties but it is more than capable of having enough coverage for a small gathering of friends and family. If you wanna get something for bigger parties, I would go with the ult field 7 or higher. One bonus with Sony speakers if you a link multiple Sony speakers together and have it in stereo mode and they don’t even have to be the same model!! As for some down sides, if you’re looking for heavy bass, this is not the speaker u want. It’s got come kick to it but if you’re looking for heavy thumps, get a bigger speaker. Another downside is the speaker sounds best in ULT 2 mode and of course it drains the battery life. You ca get 20 hours but you’d have to take it off ULT mode entirely and turn off the lights and keep the volume low. Conclusion, I definitely recommend this speaker for a good jam while cleaning or small gathering or even work. It definitely gets very loud and you can’t go wrong with Sony. Just keep it plugged in and you won’t have any issues with dying battery! With that being said, I would snag this speaker on a deal if you could wait. $350 is a lot to ask for but you’re getting Sony reliability and performance. I got mine for around $200 on a sale and I am completely satisfied

I work in video production, mainly recording music videos, and I use this speaker frequently for playbacks on set. The sound is loud, clear, and well-balanced, even in open spaces. Vocals cut through nicely, and the bass is powerful without overpowering the mix, which is crucial when working with music. I also use it at home while doing chores, and it fills the room effortlessly. The ULT bass mode adds a lot of depth without distortion, even at higher volumes. The build quality feels solid and premium, and the speaker is easy to move around. Yesterday, I took it camping and used it in the forest, and that really sold me. The volume was more than enough outdoors, the sound remained clear, and the battery lasted all day without any issues. The rugged design and portability make it perfect for outdoor use. The light show is cool and having LDAC is a plus too. Battery life last for a good while. I usually keep fhe speaker on ULT 2 which is the best sound. This speaker on sale is a steal!!! Normal price is justifiable. You won't regret purchasing.

It's incredibly loud when played indoors. We only need one for our 1,300+ sq. ft. first floor. However, it's not as loud in the car. We've taken it a few times to listen to music while out and about, and it's significantly quieter in the car, which is not a bad thing. It says it can adjust based on the environment, and I won't argue with that. The strap is very thick and seems well-made. I love the colors; they really add to the vibe. It's just great. The battery does not last as long as advertised; maybe 6 hours without the lights and at 60% volume. I bring a charger and a battery pack for outings. Overall, it was worth the money I spent, as we enjoy this speaker.
