One thing you’ll get out of this that the JBL counterparts can’t is the higher Bluetooth codec which you can really hear. It’s crisp and well balanced. In the end I had the chance to pick up the Bose Soundlink Max and I’m here to tell you that if you are leaning towards the Bose for any reason, just do it. The sound stage is impeccable and this is where Sony fell flat for me. Without the side by side I would still have the Field 5.

Sounds good I can still hear it while I've been remodeling my house in all the rooms and I don't have the volume maxed because out it gets very loud. I like the strap that comes with it makes carrying it easier cause it does have some good weight to it. It was on sale for black Friday and wife and I wanted a nice bluetooth speaker for the beach and chilling outside
