Got these for Party and Karaoke use and these did not disappoint. They charged up well and were easy to setup. We used these for three gatherings and the batteries are not depleted yet despite being on for about 12 hours total including testing them out. They can charge easily and quickly off any USB C charger or Sony ULT speaker USB C port. The build is good, they survived a few fumbles and drops from table height so far. The noise reduction really helps with heavy breathers without having to try to adjust on the mixing side, so these are good for simple setups. Again with the emphasis on simple setup without a lot of extra equipment, the auto leveling between the two microphones worked pretty well when you had a more quiet singer with a more projecting singer. It can't do as well as adjusting on a sound board, but it did equal things out quite a bit. The vocal pickup up is also very good and clear, again without any tweaking on the mixer end of things. I really recommend these for simple setups with good results without the need for any mixing gear to get fun singing results.

The Ult Mic wireless microphones is a very easy to use set of Mics with super easy setup and excellent sound quality!
Design
This set includes two, very standard looking, wireless, handheld microphones, and a wireless transceiver that plugs into a 1/4 inch (6.3 mm) audio jack. Each of the three items is charged via USB C and a USB A to USB C cable is included for charging. Sony claims 20 hours of battery life on a charge, and I have no reason to doubt that claim. The handheld mics are a comfortable weight, and again, feel very much like any other handheld mic I've used. I've run sound for different types of events many times over the years, though I don't do so on a regular basis now. The mics are made to be durable as well, with silicone in them to protect internal components from damage due to drops. There's a light on the transceiver that blinks when it's on with no mics connected. Turn on at least one mic and it will be on solid. The mics have a light on the bottom, with the USB port, to show the charging status. There's another light on the mics where the power button is that clearly shows if it's on or off.
Setup
The setup could not be easier! Just charge the mics and the transceiver, plugin the transceiver to a speaker, or other device's, Mic input. Press and hold the power button on the transceiver to turn it on. Turn on one or both mics and start using them! I have had no issues with the setup, connecting or use. You really just plug in and the mics work. There is no app needed, no configuration to do, no settings to change! They just work!
Features
Besides the simple setup and the fact that it works with anything you can plug in a mic to with a 1/4" audio jack, there are some features it has that seem to work very well! There is background noise reduction, improvements to the sound to make voices sound natural and balance levels between two people singing for improved duets and harmonies. It may do more, all I know is vocals come through sounding very good! Having two mics on one mic input is a pretty great feature too, I think. Also, I mentioned it earlier but there is silicone inside to protect internal components - so they're made to be durable.
Sound Quality
What I found is that connected to my large Bluetooth speaker, voices from these mics sound extremely clear and natural. The usual "s" and "p" sounds that tend to come through loudly or accentuated seem to be automatically softened. Vocals just sound great in general and the levels sound great with two voices together! I also haven't heard any feedback! I'm not sure how they did that but even when the mic is close to the front of the speaker and I'm singing into it, there was no feedback. I'm not sure if that's a feature in my speaker but I'm guessing it's the mic. For systems I tested with I turned the trim up to about 3/4 and then volume was great. The voice volume levels are excellent and vocals are clear and natural!
Summary
The Ult Mic set could be a total game changer for any Karaoke night! I've had a great time singing at home with my family using these mics, and even by myself, which I don't regularly do. The fact that the set let's you connect two mics in one mic input is great and then the sound quality, it's just excellent! I think this set is an amazing value if you have a speaker with a mic input on it, you should consider the Ult Mic wireless microphones!!!

First off, the setup of these mics was really easy. You just charge them and you’re good to go. The receiver uses a ¼ inch plug and that works pretty will for most guitar amps and speakers that are designed to use a mic too.
The first big use of it for me was when I used it with a speaker I have that lights up with a party mode. I connected it to my tablet and then did a Karaoke party with my family. We just used Youtube karaoke tracks on the tablet playing to the speaker over Bluetooth, then the two mics wirelessly to the speaker for the singers.
Its actually really nice that it has 2 mics for the same receiver since that means you can still have two even if your device only has a single ¼ inch input, or if its got two like mine you could theoretically have 4 mics running at the same time.
It actually worked out really will since with Bluetooth and the wireless mics we could put the speaker away from the singers a bit and it really helped with feedback problems.
The mics are built pretty well for karaoke and using two mics next to each other. They don’t pick up the other mics at all and they have some sort of built in system to balance each other so you don’t need to constantly fiddle with sound levels to get the two to integrate and sound good together.
I also tried to use the mics as a wireless pickup for my kid’s violin since it’s an acoustic one and they wanted to try and be louder by feeding it into a guitar amp. In theory this would have been great since it was wireless so we could put the speaker across the room and help to have people in the back hear the music better. However, in reality it didn’t work great for this application. The mics do a really good job of focusing on the voice speaking straight into it and then muting or blocking off side noises. This was great for karaoke, feedback and clearly hearing the singer. With an instrument that meant that the mic had to be angled just right and held pretty close to the soundboard. When actually playing a violin you just can’t keep the angle right when using a mic stand. So while it was great for speaking and a person holding the mic, other applications may not be great.
Overall I think these are really great slick devices and I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for a wireless mic for someone to speak or sing into.

The Sony ULT MIC Wireless microphones are a solid addition to the home entertainment center moment. These microphones may be used with any speaker that has a 1/4" mic jack - but are designed to pair "perfectly" with Sony ULT power sound series speakers. For myself, having a ULT power sound series speaker, I was able to experience them at fully marketed purpose.
The packaging/box is simple having the two microphones, well protected the receiver and a USB-C charging cord. Each of the 3 pieces (2 microphones and receiver) needs to be charged, which 1 cord is included (with USB connector, no brick/wall plug). Other USB-C can be used as well. The battery life is advertised as about 20 hours, which with a couple uses have not had any of the pieces run out of battery - so, so far living up to advertisement.
Set up is simple. Plug the receiver into the speaker. Turn the power on for the receiver and microphones and good to go. I see 2 utilities for this primarily (one which my wife/child are excited for). During a party, the microphone can be used to make any needed announcements. The other, is making the microphones the party. These microphones paired with a speaker can make for a make-shift but functional karaoke set up - which is what we've used this for. This requires you to use Youtube or a similar video service to display the words/song on but once you've got it set up - the karaoke moment is ready. The sounds comes over to the ULT speaker clear - along with a duet assistance that automatically balances voice between the two microphones so that one doesn't overpower the other. So far, has been a lot of fun. This of course is not a true karaoke mic set up with different voices and the songs through the machine, but if you already have a speaker these microphones are a good option for utility expansion. Or just for making those announcements while your guests are getting unruly.
Overall, a good set of professional, sleek appearing microphones. These have particular utilities, but if searching for a pair of microphones Sony does not do you wrong.

These things are a blast!
I’m writing this after an epic 1980’s-themed birthday celebration for some friends turned into an all-night karaoke-fest. The party kicked off at 8:00 PM and these microphones spent the next six hours being passed amongst the seventeen guests who all took their turns belting out the best tunes the 80’s had to offer.
Everyone loved the lightweight feel of these microphones. Those of us in the audience who were not covering our ears from the tone-deaf lyrics making their way into the ether enjoyed the microphones noise reduction features so at least we didn’t have to hear the singer taking breaths between their symphonic cacophony.
We had people from all ages who took time to belt one out and not a single one had to be instructed on how to turn the mics on and off. No one struggled with keeping a grip on them and no one complained about them being too big or too heavy to feel comfortable rocking out on.
Sound clarity, if you can describe karaoke in that manner, was excellent and no one needed to shove the microphone into their mouth for their voices to be picked up on the Sony speaker we were using.
These things are great!

A party just isn't a party unless some karaoke is going on. You just can't go wrong with a little bit of karaoke going on.
We thought about buying a set of microphones for whenever we had a party, but just never went for it. Friends and family were always requesting karaoke, and we always gave them the "nect time," but never really did it. Well, the wait is done and we finally got out hands on the Sony - ULT POWER SOUND series ULT MIC Wireless Microphone.
These are a hit at parties now! The sounds quality and ease of connections are incredible. They come with a receiver for the microphones that will allow you to use just about any speaker with a microphone input. The microphones themselves are really lightweight and easy to handle. A major plus is wireless connectivity ALL of the time. No more having to lug around long cables like the old days.
The Sony - ULT POWER SOUND series ULT MIC Wireless Microphones were a hit our last party, and will continue to be into the future.
If you are looking into making parties way more fun, a set of Sony - ULT POWER SOUND series ULT MIC Wireless Microphones will do the trick.
I higly recomment them.

The Sony ULT Power Sound Microphone could not be easier to set up and use. I removed the microphones from the box and checked that they were fully charged using the included USB-C cable. I then plugged the receiver into my Sony sound system, powered it up, turned the microphone on, and was live. Two microphones are included so that you can sing a duet. The microphones have a solid feel and excellent, crystal-clear sound quality. Each microphone has a listed 20-hour battery life. It has built-in noise reduction and duet assistance, which balances the volume between the microphones for better harmonies.
I cannot think of anything I would change with this wireless microphone system. You should consider this product if you are in the market for a wireless microphone system that plugs into your sound system with a ¼ inch MIC output.
We are having a blast singing along with our favorite songs. This is a perfect setup for delivering portable speeches. Our son had an outdoor wedding last summer, and we had difficulty getting a different brand of wireless microphone to work with the sound system. This system would have been perfect.

I don't know where to even begin. These microphones are amazing and really leveled up my Karaoke game. My wife and I host a karaoke part with our friends twice a month and these worked well as a duet. Battery life was good. We've put 5 hours on these and haven't even needed to recharge. Because of the wireless capability, we are able to have a much cleaner setup. What I enjoyed the most was the noise cancellation/ voice isolation of these. As many people can attest when singing Karaoke, nothing is more infuriating than picking up background noise, each other, etc whatever hardware/software magic is done here is doing a great job at isolating the vocals and makes for a pleasant experience. The build quality of these units is great. Solid grip, metal everywhere, robust buttons create an experience that is reassuring that they won't break if dropped. One of the microphones was dropped from ~4 feet and sustained no visible damage externally and worked as intended with no noticeable damage to the quality of the voice. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking to level up their game/setup.

I’ve been using the Sony microphones for a while and they are awesome for my use case. I play guitar and it’s so great no having a million more cables than I need and ease of use. What’s great about them is plug in play feature and most importantly the rechargeable battery. That battery lasts a very long time. Makes it super easy to use. And to make it better the charger port is USB C! Thank you Sony for adding the best charger port. That alone makes this microphone S tier. The quality is great and you able to hear your voice clearly. Another use case is when filming interviews at events I’m able to connect the wireless dongle to my sound capture and have the guests easily hold the microphone and not have the worry of cables. And the most important use case, karaoke. These are a Karaoke beast. No more cheap microphones and or tripping on cables. We are able to pass the mic super easy and turn them off with the switch. These are great for so many use cases and Sony made it supersimple to use.

The Sony - ULT Power Sound wireless microphone set has a receiver with a 1/4" TS (mono) plug and 2 wireless microphones. A USB A to USB C charging cable is included. Instructions are sparse, consisting of a QR code (that wasn't working) and 3 other pictures. In spite of being a bit worried about the sparse instructions, the 3 pictures were all that was necessary. After charging all 3 units, I plugged the receiver into my speaker, pressed the power button, turned on the speaker, both microphones and was up and running. The first thing I noticed was that the microphones were quite directional. They did not feedback when around the speaker which is always an issue when those not accustomed to sound systems are given a microphone. There is a narrow field for the speaker/singer to utilize for optimum sound which takes some getting used to but really helps prevent extraneous sounds and feedback. My experience with microphones having an on/off switch has been quite negative because they can cause speaker damaging pops. Sony has managed to have a switch that does not seem to pop when activated while the speaker is on! The sound is quality is great with crisp highs, great midrange and booming lows. The microphones are shock resistant. Both microphones operate through the single receiver. There is programming that helps balance duets when using both microphones that I have yet to test. We don't technically do karaoke, what we do is sing along with recorded music and music videos at our lakehouse. These microphones have a far superior sound to the wireless karaoke microphone system I have. This is a great upgrade to our sing alongs.
