Not worth the price.

It should be able to connect to your Wi-Fi to have a solid streaming connection if you go too far with your Bluetooth and your cell phone, it starts stuttering like any other Bluetooth speaker. For $1000 plus it should have been better . I give a three stars because the wireless microphone was pretty good with it .

Thank you for the review and your feedback is greatly appreciated. Bring the Bluetooth device closer to the speaker. We need more details regarding your concern when you said "stuttering". Power reset the speaker, turn it off and wait 1-2 minutes then turn it on. Also, if there is any obstacle between the speaker and the Bluetooth device, move it out of the way.

Amazing Sony Bluetooth speaker

However, it easily moves around on it wheels and was surprisingly simple to adjust and maneuver. I already have the Sony music app as my main player as I have another Sony bluetooth speaker. So, setting this up was a breeze and the unit was recognized right away. The presets for ULT1 and ULT2 are fantastic and change the sound, which sounds great! I used my custom EQ from my previous set up and WOW, this thing booms! I was not aware of how loud this would be but I will tell you that I can walk to my neighbors house with it only about 50% turned up and I can hear the music and vocals crystal clear. Getting louder than that I can say that my house was completely full of music and it made it difficult to have a conversation. The light show looks even better on this beast! The draw backs here are the seemingly short electrical cord (not really short, but more than 4 ft would make sense) and when using party mode the other Bluetooth speaker (Sony brand) seemed louder than this unit. Not a knock on it at all as the function worked perfectly and the house sounded great in stereo music! No matter what you play, this thing will knock it out of the park with great sound! I highly recommend this if you need loud and large sound! Also, the karaoke setting works great, too! My wife and sister belted out tunes for hours! I have not tried the TV function with the supplied cable as the cable is short, as well. Makes it difficult to hook up. I could see this being a perfect DJ speaker for those wanting a one speaker set up! Nice work here, Sony!

We're sorry to hear the SRS-ULT1000 isn't giving you that deep, hard-hitting bass you're looking for. We definitely want you to get a richer experience. Here are a few quick things you can check that often make a big difference with the bass:
1. The speaker has a dedicated button labeled ULT. Press it once to switch to ULT 1 mode. This mode is specifically tuned to deliver that deeper, more resonant bass you're after.
2. If you download the Sony | Music Center app on your phone, you can find the Equalizer (EQ) settings. Try increasing the Bass setting manually.
We really hope those tips help you get the sound you're looking for!
