    Same issues with fan

    Posted .

I'm having the same problem. I updated to Firmware version 6.008, and the projector would shut off at random times with the status link blinking 3 times, which indicates a fan issue. I updated to the 6.010 firmware on (3/11/2019) and the problem is now worse. The projector will not stay on for more than 10 seconds. I basically have a $25,000 paper weight.. You can find me on AVSFORUM explaining the issue about the VZ1000ES projector when I first purchased it.

save your self 21k and go with a Vava 4k laser

    Posted .

Just get the Vava 4K UHD short throw Laser TV for 2,700. Combined with a good screen and still save 20,000. This was really inovative when it came out but there are a number of options in the 5k and below range now.
