Much faster than back in the day using a standard SD card either by placing car directly into a desktop or using a slower SD reader. If you move up to a Nikon Z series, this is the card reader for you!

This file transfers from this to my iPad are blazing fast!! No software was needed. My Apple Photos sees it and allows for easy import.

A great reader for the new CFexpress cards that need lightning transfer speeds. Back-compatible with XQD cards but regrettably does not read SD cards which are still in use with the latest mirrorless cameras. Expensive.

very efficient card reader

Much faster transfer than the camera to computer cable. This was a good investment for me.
