The counter makes it very easy to take notes by marking the counter and a brief comment. Better to pay attention not missing any info taking comprehensive notes.

Clearest recorder compared to similar priced ones

The "pop-out" USB type A connection is an added benefit to easily move recorded tracks to your computer.

Sony, the very best recorders.

I now have four, two of the 560's and two of the 570's. Both models don't have batteries, both have internal Lithium Rechargeable batteries. I find that the model 560 holds a charge a little bit longer than the 570, but both models are fantastic. The voice quality is second to none. I wouldn't have anything else.

A little complicated to use. I would have preferred a battery model since I did not like having to charge in the computer. Used in lectures for school.

Sony - UX Series Digital Voice Recorder

There are better manuals than what came with it online though that are more helpful when figuring out how to program it.
