If you are gonna shoot video with your camera then the battery pack really helps out and feels great in the hand. Definitly a great accessory to have.

I bought this product because I like shooting vertically , Sonys vertical is grip is awesome great build, it feels good in the hand addition of the 2nd battery is great

Excellent product for extra battery and extended battery time. In addition to that, the grip is comfortable to hold and to handle and maneuver the camera. Highly recommended; however, there are off-brand items that are very similar that cost a fraction of the cost of this Sony brand: compare the Sony at $237 (for the used one) or the off-brand (of same quality) for only $53. I have both, but I always use the $53 one.

This extended grip doesn't leave my Sony. It makes life so much easier when using the camera. The extra battery is so helpful for those long days of continuous shooting. Definitely recommend to anyone thinking about it, DO IT!!

This makes holding the Sony A7r3 much more comfortable. I have rather large hands and was finding it uncomfortable holding the camera. My pinky finger was always hanging off the bottom. This does obviously make the overall package larger, however it is still smaller than any of my dslrs. Well constructed and good fit not to mention the extra battery. Highly recommended.

I love this grip! I have this grip attached to the Sony A7III. It's very sturdy, well built, and blends in with the camera because everything looks uniform. For the current price of around 350 dollars it might not be worth that much money but it does the job well and I'm happy with it though I bought it for 265 dollars on a sale. For the price it might be worth looking into the MEIKE grip.

This vertical grip is good for taking pictures in either landscape or portrait mode, but it is a bit heavy for handheld photography. It is advantageous, though, because you don’t have to change batteries as often as without the grip.

This is the best accessory purchase I've made for my Sony A7R III. I must have used my camera all night and it still had plenty of battery life left because of this baby. I don't regret buying this at all!

Having a bigger hands, thus grib makes it easier to handle my camera effectively. It's an Aesthetical to the a7lll camera

This vertical battery grip is excellent. It allows you take many photos throughout your shots without worrying about your battery life. Plus, this battery grip gives you more stability in your shoting.

This grip adds a lot of balance to the camera and increases battery life. Would be nice if Sony would include two batteries. A little on the expensive side, but additional savings can be found on the internet. Make sure you order the right grip for the camera

This grip was added to the Sony A7RIII. I came from Canon over to Sony's Mirrorless camera. If you are coming to the mirrorless platform the camera bodies are smaller. You will need to add the grip to have more body to hold in your hands.

Great thing to have with you alpha series, camera allows you to work longer with two batteries

The grip itself feels very nice, has a solid build. However I feel that the battery tray latch/release could be thicker plastic, as it feels very brittle and thin. Also price could be lowered.

When we purchased our Sony Mirrorless camera we knew we preferred the feel of the Nikon and were hopeful this grip would satisfy our needs. It definitely did and love the fact that it holds two batteries.
