This one matches the camera 100%, the buttons feel solid and the battery drawer just fits perfect. Yes, paying a little bit more, you get what you pay for, a good investment.

There are cheaper non-branded alternatives that work pretty well but this one is also made of the same material as the camera and not too "plasticky". Unlike to unbranded ones, this works without having to turn on or off the grip switch and does not drain batteries. Only issue is that the joystick does seem a little stiff and wont register movements all the time but nothing too bad. I would suggest that you buy this only if it is on sale, it usually drops to 300$.

On top of easy vertical shooting and having two batteries, it makes the camera much more comfortable to use for someone with larger hands. Fits perfectly and looks great.
