Customers are saying

Customers highly value the VPLXW5000ES projector's exceptional picture quality, brightness, and deep black levels, frequently praising its ease of use. However, some users noted the manual lens adjustment as a drawback, and a few mentioned the fan noise as being more noticeable than anticipated. The projector's price point was also a topic of discussion, with some considering it a worthwhile investment.

Paid for the item 5 weeks ago, wouldn’t recommend this experience to anybody. Still a week and a half out to appointment number three. Wow, what customer service!

Fantastic projector. Had for about two months now. Replacing a Sony 1080P projector and the color and black levels are beyond expectations. I saw a review where the author talked about Lumens and how they not always equal between manufacturers. This may be only 2000 Lumens but it is more than bright enough for my 120" screen in a 14' x 16' media room. I love that if my kids leave the projector running I don't even think about how many lamp hours I'm burning. If I had to complain about anything it would be.....1) Sony is using the same remote control as the last four or five versions. 2) It takes a few minutes to power up, but when it does it's at full brightness from the start. 3) I'm using a screen with a very thin bezel, and the manual adjust was kind of a drag. I ended up with a small sliver not lining up at the bottom of my screen, but I'm the only one to notice. I would not hesitate to recommend.
