Use this mostly when gardening but the first player was full and I wanted to be more selective on the songs I put on it. I like my original one and thought that I was buying the same product again. Turns out this model 16GB is different and the HOLD is easier to mistakenly turn on and off..Just reminds me to check the specs more closely. This model feels cheaply made.

the sound and operation is simple sill trying to figure out how not turn on by just bumping the button

I bought one unit and came back to purchase two more units for different genres of music and audiobooks

I am abit frustrated because there isn't enough instruction on how to use. I want super simple and it's ok not super simple

This is my first MP3 player. I would have like printed instructions, but they are available online. Once I figured out how to use it, it was easy. It has a lot more features than I thought at first. A great product for the price.

Good sound but has no way to secure it to you belt or anything else

This sony mp3 player is really good and it doest cost as much as an ipod. I have always trust sony products such as tv, walkmans, cd player, etc. Back in the days, I love the walkmans they had and I purchase many of then, this is why I trust sony mp3 players.

MP3 players are hardly dinosaurs but they're getting pretty difficult to find without an abundance of excess. Even this came with a bunch of 'samples' loaded that seem to make navigation unnecessarily complicated. If it wasn't for the junk in the trunk, this would have had 5.

This is a great alternative to an IPod. Good sound.

This is my 5th Sony Walkman mp3 player that I purchased. Not as much features as the older models had but still puts out the good Sony sound quality.

Major use was for using on car system. Easy to drag and drop songs onto it from computer. Easy to install in car. No extra parts needed, USB cable included for charging/PC. Approximately 2,350 songs = 8.6gb.

I got this for my daughter. It's easy to load music. I have the older model that has a bigger screen and speakers, this one doesn't. I think Sony did a disservice eliminating those features with the current model. All in all, it's still decent.

This was a gift to my 11 year old who loves music. I just wish there was an easier way to upload all his music in one shot instead of one song at a time. Once the music is on, its very easy to use.

The Sony Walkman Nw-e395 16gb* Mp3 Player is a outstanding player that is cheaper than Apple. The sound is great and clear. The only thing is no video can play on it, but I can live with that.

Was looking for a Walkman that would hold a battery charge for more than 7 hours. This one lasts for over 24 hours

I like the red color and black earbuds. So easy to use. I have my entire iTunes collection on the player. The sound is good, including the radio stations.

I loaded every CD I own to this mp3 player and plug it into our steroe for long trips. It's easy to use and works wonderfully.

Sony has removed many features from previous Walkmans. That being said, my daughter loves it. She takes it everywhere and has the music she wants to listen to when she wants it. She creates folders herself and organizes her music manually.
