Lousy mid and bass

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Given all of the bells and whistles included with these buds I cannot get the same warm, full sound that I was used to with my old Cambridge Audio Melomania's. Even after replacing the silicone tips with the excellent Comply foam tips the sound never got much better. The top end was nice but the mid and bottom end did not play nice with each other. They completely lost most of the details being played by the bass and drums.

We regret to hear that you are not completely satisfied with the WFC700N headphones. For optimum performance, make sure that the software version of the headphones is up-to-date (via the Sony Sound Connect app). Aside from replacing the earbud tips, make sure that you are wearing both earbuds properly. Put the headset unit with the (left) mark into your left ear and the headset unit with the (right) mark into your right ear. The left headset unit has a tactile dot. Adjust the fit of the headset to your ears. Twist the headset unit to slide the earbud tip deep into your ear canal. For more information, please refer to this link:

Great sound without breaking the bank

The earbuds don't have a mic . So you have to talk into your cell phone . The noise cancelation works well .

The WFC700N have microphones on the left and right headset units.
When you receive an incoming call, a ring tone will be heard from the headset.
You will hear either of following ring tones, depending on your smartphone or mobile phone.
Connect the headset to a smartphone or mobile phone via a Bluetooth connection beforehand.
When you hear a ring tone, press the button twice quickly on the left or right headset unit to receive the call.
If no ring tone is heard via the headset
The headset may not be connected with the smartphone or mobile phone over HFP or HSP.
Check the connection status on the smartphone or mobile phone.

I’ve gone over 9 hours on phone calls and listening to music without needing to charge. Only complaint is button positioning and having to select the ear buds every time I answer a call.

I usually go with JBL and that brand is wonderful, but for a change I went with these Sony headphones. The sound is more to my liking, a bit more highs and a little more on the low frequencies. I would recommend these if they fit your price range. Hopefully you are as happy as I am with the set.

Surprisingly good sound and comfort ANC.

Switched to these bc they were cheap at $99. Boy was a i surprised at the noise canceling and sound on these. Love wearing these at work to listen to music, ignore customers and talk on the phone.

You can wear them all day, they are so comfortable. Tap the left bud for noise cancelling. When you turn off noise cancelling its like HD hearing.!!!really worth it, connects to my TV/phone/ipad... i wear them so much I dropped one in the toilet and it still works great:)
