for the price i was not expecting a big difference, but i was proven wrong and these turned out to be a most pleasant surprise. hyped to big on bass, which they were, but not boomy, and nicely tight. midrange was very nice and the high end was just fine, making for a well rounded sound. i read that some folks had issues with comfort, but i had no issue and could wear them for long periods of time with no trouble at all. so, for me, this is money well spent and would highly recommend them to anyone who loves their music !

I'm always wary of these headphones claiming great sound, however I know Sony to give focus to reproducing bass sounds, and this headphone does not disappoint especially at this price point. Good pairing. No drops or cut outs from the headphone witnessed. Quick charging. I am happy with the product.

Really good earbuds for the price. Only a few problems though, I'll list them below. At higher volume settings, the sounds become pretty muddy. Lots of instruments in songs can blend together, and it isn't really nice. Bass feels like it has degraded in the two years I've had them, but it's still pretty good. Sounds pleasant. Buttons are really nice, only issue really is that lowering the volume takes a while. Passive noise cancelling is not great, even with the right fit. Still works to an extent but not at all in an office or bus. Case will break if you drop it while the top is open. The lid will fly right off. Still will function, but just keep it in mind. Earbuds themselves can take a beating pretty well. Battery life is exceptional. With daily usage, you can charge it once every 2-3 days and it'll be good. Case has a lot of battery life too, I think its around 18 hours. After a while, they get pretty quiet. They don't feel loud enough and also are not compatible with Sony's headphones app so it cannot be changed. Overall, although I've mainly listed flaws, these earbuds are exceptional. Going to be replacing them now with WF-1000XM3s, which is basically just a better version. If you're looking for an upgrade, you can get them for 200 normally but on sale for about $130. If you're buying these at $120, you should check if they're on sale first.

As always, Sony has put out an excellent pair of wireless headphones. The sound is nice and crisp with awesome bass. The only issue I had with this set is that there is a primary earbud, which I believe is the left side. You have to have the left earbud out of the case and connected to your device to use the right side. So you can't use one earbud independent of the other, unless its the left side. So I had to return them, because I like to switch up the sides when I'm working in the office to keep one ear free. All in all if that doesn't bother you, I'd recommend them. You can't beat this sound at this price point.

Bought these on sale at a good price, though the sound quality was pretty good and I loved the extra Bass. I just didn’t like that it sticks out my ears too much . Also that you can’t adjust the sound with the Sony app. Otherwise wet food

I love these! They are so comfortable easy to use and the charger is the universal type C... so no extra chargers to carry around. The sound is amazing. I'm an artist so when Im doodling or drawing.. you seriously loose track of time and realized I've been listening to music fid 5 hours now and I hadn't had the need to charge. The only thing that is it has a hard time pairing with the sony connect app.

So far a solid battery life, and very comfortable to wear. good sound, fast charging.

Had a pair of the SP-700N earbuds, but the battery was not lasting as long as it used so I needed to replace them. I am a fan of Sony products and came across the XB 700’s, mind you the price I paid was below $100 on sale and made them very attractive. The cons: 1. Not noise canceling 2. No NFC 3. No app interface The Pros: 1. Price (on sale below $100) 2. The clear sound and bass are really good 3. No latency when watching videos, SP 700’s has a second plus delay 4. The battery can last for a long time and the usb c charging charges bothering case and earbuds quickly. 5. Snug fit that does not irritate with IPX4 rating. Overall, the pro’s outweighed the cons and the price point even with a lack of NfLFC and noise canceling made these a great buy. If you need a pair of wireless earbuds for working out with a designated device these are a great buy.

These are basic Buds, without all the bells and whistles, but great for what I purchased them for, music. Great for everyday listening or performing tasks like cutting grass. They do better then more expensive pairs of drowning out and playing over loud lawn equipment, plus the battery lasts longer then my more expensive Jaba Elite 65 T. Seem to be made well and will hold up, plus the charging case is a breeze. Strong magnets ensure the buds are fitted properly in the case for charging every time, opens way easier then the Jabra case. Louder then both the Jabra’s and a Samsung pair I replaced. For the money paid you can’t go wrong with this pair. A little bulky, but that’s where your sound comes from, bigger driver’s. They fit snug and haven’t fallen out of my ears yet

Great bass, comfortable and easy to connect. Only complaint would be is they aren’t that loud. I bought the Bose set as well, they were louder but not as much bass. In short crisp clear sound , they are really good.

This is the best set of wireless earbuds I have owned. I usually don't go for the very high end, but I will pay for features, especially better base. The sound on these is very good. I have the comparable Sony wired earbuds and I don't feel like anything is lost with the wireless version. They are easy to pair and the case is small enough to easily put in a pocket.

They have great sound quality, and the battery life with the case is fantastic for my purposes. For me running with these would basically not be possible as they would fall out of my ears.

Great sound but it could be louder. I love the bass. Its ok when you get a phone call. I did experience a bad connection while i was on the phone. Overall i give it 4 stars

Had these buds for about 2 weeks and they're great. Sound quality is a great, battery life is great, earbuds feel good and case charges with usb c. Only complaint I have with these is that they're kind of big and have to move them around in my ears to get a comfortable fit.

Decent non AC earbuds. A bit large and the fit, at least for, can be a bit tricky. I recommend getting foam tips. Sound is great. Battery life is superb.

The xb700s have great sound quality, very good battery life. The physical buttons are easy to use. The ear buds are very big and stick out of the ears a lot, they are not comfortable to wear for long sessions, and the charging case is bulky. And because they are so big, they are not great for workouts, they would shake and come loose. The original pair of the xb700s I got had a loose part in one of the earpiece and there was clicking sound when it was shaked. I got a replacement pair and this pair works perfectly.

I gave it a 4 star because sometimes they fall out after a few minutes of wearing them But overall great sound quality . Nice bass I use them at work in warehouse

These earbuds are the best all around ones I've owned. While I've had others that do certain things better, i.e. cleaner sounding, more crisp highs, etc., these offer the fullest range of sound I've heard in an earbud. They sound more similar to over the ear headphones than they do earbuds. They are a bit bulky, but reasonable considering the range of sound they reproduce. Mainly use them for mowing, which takes @ 3 hours. While they aren't noise cancelling, they significantly reduce noise of the mower because they fit tightly in my ears. When playing music I almost can't hear the mower's engine at all. Very happy with these, especially for the price I paid when they were on sale.

Comfortable, great sound, really good bass. I use these mainly for the gym. They won’t pop off if your running or anything like that. Easy to charge. Two complaints though. 1. When nothing is playing the right ear bud has a slight buzz. 2. The charging cord is very short.
