But they didn't fit me, deapite trying every alternative sized tip it comes with they were also borderline painful to put in my ears . Almost perfect headphones

Eartips did not fit my ears to creat proper seal. Got some eartips off amazon that were all silicone and they created proper seal for audio to sounds better. Sounds quality is good, but feel there are similar quality headphones at a lesser cost. If you love sony then you cant go wrong.

Gently pull up on the top of your ears, put the earbud tips in your ear canal, and then twist the earbuds into place. This makes sure the earbuds are firmly in the ear canal.

Best Headphones - EVER!

The headphone's adaptive ability is amazing, and the speak-to-talk feature (mutes-pauses your music) that allows you to hear others when you want to and have a conversation is seamless and brilliant. Plus, the noise-canceling feature works better than even my AirPod Pros! Love these headphones! Then the coolest new feature is it allows you to connect to 2 devices at the same time allowing for a seamless transition from one device to another, it's super cool. The only small tweak/suggestion I would have e is the charging case is a bit bulkier than I would have liked,y and it is hard to find protective cases for it, but all in all, they are out there, and it doesn't ruin the experience of these fantastic headphones.

Best earbuds ever besides the ear tips

I compared it to my airpods pro and it has a better bass sound to it. The only downside is the ear tips. It gets dirty pretty quick. I don't wear them too often but it looks like the ear tips are already worn out. I would like to get some replacement ear tips but other than that great earbuds.

Do not use water to wash them off.
Do not use alcohol or any chemical to clean them.
Use only a soft dry cloth to wipe them off.
If the earbud tips get wet, drain the liquid well and do not use or place them in the charging case until they are dry.

Wish the battery could’ve lasted longer

Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I originally bought these in February 2022 and originally the battery was amazing, I was able to regularly get over 8 hours battery while using anc, and 12+ with anc off. That was until January 2023 when the battery life of the left earbud began to decline, first down to 9 hours, (still good tho) then after a couple more months it would barely last 3 hours with anc off.

Other than that the product is absolutely amazing, especially with the memory foam ear buds. It takes some getting used to but they are the best ear buds ive ever purchased.

Great earbuds for most applications

Sound clarity: very clear. Bass: just enough to be booming. Other cool features are that you could put these on the same charging pad for airpods, memory foam-like cushions, sleek to the point where people can barely notice you are wearing them, can use either side individually, can change playback controls to even change the volume on either side, etc. Only cons I have have encountered with this is just the bass isn’t consistent when going to higher volumes, the ambient sound control works to an extent, and not that much tweaking in the equalizer settings in the Sony Connect app. Other than these small issues, totally worth it.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had really high hopes for these buds as I read that the noise cancellation outperformed the airpods pro 2nd generation which is all the rage now. It sounds good and the supporting sony app offers a lot of support in terms of customizing the sounds it produces with the equalizer and switching between modes, but the connection at times is too instable. If I even take one bud off momentarily it will switch to ambient sound. Sometimes the buds will disconnect and reconnect out of nowhere or the app will keep popping in and out on my notifications. The noise cancellation is solid when I listen to music, but there are times when even then I will hear people's voices if they are loud enough. The memory foam is really annoying because it collects earwax very easily. I can't properly clean and wash them because that degrades the memory foam tips. I wanted to try them cause I thought it would be a good experience, but it was a mistake. I can wear them fine,but it's annoying that I have to tilt them inside my ear and also knowing they are going to diminish on their own in the future.

Started out GREAT but disappointed.

This is very annoying and causes me not to be able to use both ear buds when I am listening to music. I like the size but the WF-1000XM3 lasted better.

The sound quality bass, trebleand mids are all next level. Pair that with the noise canceling, and like Flossy Carter would say they are God tier. They were worth every penny. I only use the most special occasions as I have two other pair of earbuds. I mainly use these for phone and video calls. But what I really want to jam out around the house and just listen to my music where nobody else can hear I will slap these in my ears before any other pair of earbuds or headphones that I own. I recommend downloading the Sony headphone app to adjust the EQ to your settings so you can get the best out of these buds and prioritize either connection or sound quality to your liking

Great sound but could be better on everything else

The microphones are terrible and arent good for phone calls the shape is no good for a lot of peoples ears (they fit mine fine but a stem design like the airpods would help with this problem and the microphone one) the battery life is perfect but not being able to adjust the volume on the headphones is a negative. Just put one physical button on the top of both headphones to give volume adjustment. Wearing them for long periods of time is also not comfortable and they fallout alot with movement. Not a fan of the app layout as well but that is a subjective opinion so yea.

For the proper sound quality, noise canceling function, and call sound quality to be effective, try to use the right size according to the size of your ears. When wearing them, twist the headset unit to fit it snugly into the ear canal, and adjust the positioning of the headset unit until it fits comfortably and wait for about 10 seconds for the earbud tip shape to stabilize. This should give you a firmer hold and better noise canceling experience. Using the Sony | Headphones Connect app, you may assign the playback volume adjustment function to the touch sensor of the headphones and also helps you to determine which earbud tips are most suitable for you to achieve the optimal noise cancellation effect. Sony Wireless Noise Cancelling Earbuds

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.These are my first wireless earbuds, I have had wireless headsets and wired (4) earbuds only one which was noise cancelling. In my opinion the type of music you listen too makes a difference in what you buy, I am more into Jazz which sounds very good but I also love rock and they are not as good (from a bass and fidelity perspective) reproducing that type of sound. I used the noise cancelling on a recent flight to Colombia and they aren't comparable, again, in my opinion, to Bose over ear noise cancelling, not even close. But from a perspective of what is effective they are that and with the music you do not hear your surrounding. The only thing I wish they had was volume control on the earbud vs the device although there is a way in the app to change volume control to the earbud vs advancing to the next song. Overall they are comfortable last about 4 hours on a full charge and connect seamlessly, although as noted by others, in a song with dramatic transients they will cut out (lose the connection) momentarily, for milliseconds, but enough to be annoying if your enjoying the song. Best Buy gives you 30 days to return if you don't like them, so it is worth a try, my second choice would have been the Bose Earbuds, hope to check them out soon...

Sony WF-1000XM4 Earbuds.

The bass is astonshing for earbuds, only Sony WF-700 earbuds have more bass. I have a Garmin watch with 2000 songs on it and it works great with watch (no intermittent connections as had with wf700), also works well with my Samsung S10+ phone. Just buy them!!
