Bought these to fly with, exceeded all of my expectations! Battery life is excellent, sound quality is wonderful and the noise cancelling works great. To my surprise after wearing them for over eight hours they were so comfortable that I fell asleep with them on for the last two hour leg of my trip. Use them around the house and at work especially when I want to drown out the world. Pairs great with my I-pad pro and all my other devices including the tv. The rest of the family wants to borrow them any chance they get.

I bought the AT-LP120XUSB to replace a Pioneer PL-990. I use it for home listening and am very happy with the upgrade. The first thing I noticed is how substantial this is compared to the other turntables I have owned. At 17.6 lbs, it outweighs the 990 by almost 10 pounds and feels very solidly built. The feet are adjustable and have good dampening properties. The packaging is very nice, and everything is well protected. One thing to note is that some of the pieces (cover hinges, headshell, counterweight, and cue light) are in one of the Styrofoam ends that holds the turntable in the box. Setup was relatively easy, and Audio-Technica has a YouTube video that shows you exactly what to do. Basically, it's put the platter on the spindle, drop on the slipmat, install the headshell (the cartridge is already installed on the headshell), balance the tonearm, set up the anti-skate, and you're ready to go. The whole process took no more than 10 minutes, and I spent much of that time double-checking the balance of the tonearm. The direct drive system works well. The quartz-controlled speed is spot on and rock solid. There is no motor noise that I can hear, either through the sound system or mechanically. The sound quality is excellent. I have a decent, mid-range system and this fits in well. The included AT-VM95E cartridge has decent frequency response (20 - 22,000 Hz) and produces good, full sound. I'm using the turntable's built-in pre-amp and it does the job well. One thing I really like is the ability to record using USB. I'm using Windows, and it was simply a matter of plugging in the cable and starting Audacity. The turntable shows up as a source in the drop-down (for me it was already selected) so all I had to do was start playing and hit record in the software. So far I haven't come across anything I don't like. At first I wasn't sure about the fully manual operation, coming from the automatic PL-990, but it isn't really an issue. If anything, it makes the whole process of listening to records even more engaging for me. If you are looking for a good mid-range turntable that doesn't break the bank, this is definitely one to consider.

Very comfortable headphones with excellent sound quality. The noise cancelling is bar-none some of the best in the market. Can be worn for a very long time comfortably but I will mention they do tend to get a bit warm, wouldn't wear them too often in the summer unless I'm in a cool, air conditioned place. Battery like is absolutely incredible, can't be beat by many really. Do with you could connect to more than one device at a time but other than that these are excellent headphones.

Forget Bose, forget Beats, forget everything else. I own a number of wireless noise canceling headphones - these, Bose QCii, B&O, Jabra, Master & Dynamic, Microsoft Surface 2. The Sonys are the best in every category - sound, noise canceling, battery life, comfort, functionality. Hands down (although the Surface 2s are very close.) Nothing wrong with those other ones, but these are just the best across the board. A little pricey, but they all are. I also prefer buttons rather than tapping/swiping.

Move over Bose! These cans are the best ANC Headphones I’ve ever used. Sound quality is better than I expected and the ability to customize the EQ in the app is an added bonus. ANC is not just on par with the Bose QC 35’s but I think it’s even better. These are super comfortable and wearing them for extended periods isn’t painful at all. Most of all I’m impressed with the sound quality. I’ve also compared these to the B&W P9 and not only are they cheaper and more comfortable, but they sound cleaner and richer. I highly recommend giving these a try.

These Sony Headphones are truly noise Canceling. I purchased the Beats studio 3 and they sound pretty good, just didn't have enough bass. So i decided to try this Sony and oh BOY. The acoustics, dynamics and bass were exactly what i was looking for. Light weight and you barley hear anything else once the music is on. It's literally music to my ears.

If you live off of professional reviews and customer feedback, then you may have already seen that these are the best on the market. Having explored Bose as a comparatively similar product, these stood out to me for both sound quality and noise cancellation. I use them constantly for work and play. They’re crystal clear. The batter lasts most of the week. They charge fast. They’re so comfortable. They update the firmware on a regular basis. Sony knocked it out of the park with these.

Coming from someone who's used HD650's and T50RPs, these are awesome for being wireless headphones. The noise canceling effects aren't uncomfortable but great at blocking white noise sounds and blocks out far away voices especially if you play any kind of media. It's got great battery life, and it's waaaaaaay more comfortable than I anticipated. I wear them for hours daily at work. The only thing that doesn't always work is the double tap on the earcup to pause. Sometimes it just doesn't accept my input. Everything else works as advertised.

These headphones are really nice. Very light..very comfortable. They sound really good and the best of all the noise cancellation on these things are amazing. They are the best when on a plane to knock out white noise. Probably the two biggest knocks on these headphones is that they don't connect to multiple devices at once and the microphone is pretty bad when it comes to just about anything. Don't go trying to make a call in anywhere noisy. You're better off just using your phone. Other than those two things I love these guys. If they could tie Jabras microphones into these headphones no one could touch these. Then there would finally be a set of headphones that did it all.

To give some background I am a young adult living in Minnesota that commutes to and from work Monday - Friday. I had been doing this commute with a pair of bluetooth in-the-ear headphones that I also use to workout. While they have good sound, they weren't doing a great job of blocking out the sound of other commuters as well as the rumbling of the bus. Not to mention in-the-ear can get annoying after a while. I decided that I would get a nice pair of bluetooth over-the-ear headphones with noise canceling capabilities. I did some research and these came highly recommend for their noise-canceling abilities and sound. Luckily I then found them on sale for Black Friday. While they are definitely a more expensive pair of headphones, so far they have been worth every penny for the following reasons. - I can wear them over a winter hat and the sound quality is still great. - The battery life is great and they charge very quickly. - The sound quality is exceptional, especially for bluetooth. Each unique sound comes in clearly and there isn't an overpowering bass. Plus you can also adjust the sound to your liking. I should mention I also listen to podcasts and those come in clearly too. - They look sleek - They are comfortable and fit snugly around my ears. - They are vegan (this probably doesn't matter to most but it does to me) - The bluetooth range is ridiculously good. So good that I often forget that I have left my phone in a completely different part of my house. - Finally, my favorite and most unexpected part is they have a function that will alter the levels of noise-cancellation based on your movement. This means when I am walking to the bus the noise-cancellation is lowered so I can hear enough traffic to not get hit. Once I get on the bus they recognize that I am commuting and turn the noise-cancellation up to block out unwanted sounds. It is perfect. I cannot speak for other top end over-the-ear bluetooth headphones with noise-cancellation but if that is what you are looking for you will not be disappointed with these.

I got these headphones for a flight that had a six hour layover in Vegas. These headphones dimmed the cacophony of the hustle a bustle of the crowds and gaming machines to a very reasonable level. They sound fine, and the long battery life is incredible especially with the ability to quick charge in a pinch. The connection is very stable and the provided cable can be used to make them a passive set of cans if the battery does manage to go out. Very comfortable and clearly a high quality product for frequent travelers.

If you want one of the best sounding most comfortable noise cancelling headphones available at this moment at a reasonable price you can't beat these. The sound cancellation is incredible, the sound quality is also outstanding ,and the downloadable Sony app for these headphones makes it very customizable to change your sound to suit your requirements. if you can afford these headphones I'd say by them you won't regret it that is until sony comes up with a new version.

Purchased for the wife to use in our shared home office. She loves the isolation these headphones provide as well as the great sound quality. She recently used them on a long plane ride and was impressed with the noise cancellation. The battery life was more than enough for the 5+ hour trip. Lightweight and very comfortable.

I spend a fair amount of time on the road for work, which means (for me) frequent air travel. These headphones provide a meaningful quality of life boost to me on an airplane. Someone's traveling with an infant who's getting fussy? Couldn't prove it by me. The roar of the jets and the omnipresent white noise of air re-circulation? Gone. Just gone. Decent touch controls and a long battery life mean the things just simply my life, which can be a hard thing to say about consumer tech these days.

This is my first pair of ANC headphones and I am impressed. I had wanted a product like this for quite some time but was unwilling to make the investment. Fortunately, I found these on sale so I jumped on them and have not been disappointed. ANC - I can't speak to the quality of the noise cancelling compared to others but it works fine for me. Others may be better but the WH-1000XM3 certainly meets my needs. Comfort - I have other wired (non-ANC) headphones from Audio Technica and AKG. I've never had any complaints about the comfort on these but the XM3 blows them away. Ear pads are softer and seal better. Sound - I'm not an audiophile so all I know is that these sound great. Better than my wired headphones, but that is to be expected as the XM3 costs considerably more. I had read some comments complaining about the voice quality on phone calls (your voice that the person you are calling is hearing). I have had no issues with this. People on the other end of the call say that my voices sounds great and they couldn't tell that I was speaking thru headphones. In short, I highly recommend theis product.

Lightweight and very comfortable. The battery lasts all day while I listen to music at work. The noise cancelling is great for work.

I really did like these headphones. Extremely comfortable to wear and battery life was outstanding! The Noise Cancellation is the best feature. It’s amazing how it blocks out loud background sounds. I work in a factory style environment. Machine’s running, people talking, air pressure sounds, piped in music etc. Unfortunately, these are not approved for use at work, so I had to return to the store. Do yourself a big favor and check them out at a Best Buy near you. They have these on display for demos.

These headphones are fantastic, but I wish that there was an option to turn off noise cancelling AND ambient sound. Sometimes it is too loud or overwhelming when I am trying to listen on low volumes and still hear outside my headphones, when it is necessary. It really does its job with the noise cancelling, though! holding your hand over the headphones is a nice way to pause or lower the volume and it has touch controls for skipping and pausing as well.

Nice design, lightweight and very comfortable to wear for long periods.. Does a good job of blocking out external noise. Sound quality is good, however could possibly be improved upon. Am very pleased with the product, overall...

I love the overall quality of my Sony 1000MX3 headphones. The cups are premium, the sound Quality is industry leading and the noise canceling tech is top notch. The touch controls work flawlessly and it lasts for over 20 hours when fully charged. I haven't even mentioned the app that you can download that give you a ton more options. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who loves great audio tech and Sony is a pioneer. Great Headphones!
