Ok, so this review starts with me coming into the Best Buy store ready to buy the Bose Quiet Comfort II 35 noise-cancelling headphones. When I asked to see them, the salesperson asked me if I was familiar with the Sony brand instead.....which I was not. Without getting into a verrrrrry long review, I can only say that I am very happy that the salesman ran interference on my purchase of the Bose product, because the Sony product blows Bose out of the water !! I compared both of them, and I bought the Sony. Since I am an Elite member at Best Buy, I had 45 days to return them if I didn't like them..... Well, I am NOT going to return them, they are freaking awesome !! If you have never used noise-cancelling headphones, you will be blown away by these. It blocks out all surrounding ambient sound, and all you hear is the music, video, youtube, or whatever it is that you are listening to from your devices (phone, computer, tablet, etc). It has bluetooth connectivity, so you don't have wires tethering you to your device that you are listening to. The sound quality is unbelievable, and it even has its own App (android and apple), that you can use to really fine tune the headphones, and even make changes to the noise cancelling parameters, etc. Battery lasts forever..........!!!! Used it several hours a day, and It took nearly a week before I had to charge it again. Bottom line, it is worth every penny. You get what you pay for. Highly recommended.

These headphones are the bomb. They have a incredibly long battery life and the sound quality is amazing. I use them in the gym and the sound cancelling always amazes me. I'm sure people enjoy hearing me breath hard and grunt, but I sure don't in these headphones. The bass is of great quality and the price was on par.

I've had these headphones for several months now. The battery life is pretty great! I don't think I've gotten a full 30 hours from it, but it lasts quite a long time. I recently spent the day at airports, and I used about 60% or the battery. I really enjoy the bass and the fact that you can adjust it. The noise cancelling is also amazing. When I first bought this pair, it kind of made me sick when I enabled it. But once I got used to it, it's been great.

The Sony wireless noise cancelling headphones are the best I have ever had. Over the years I have purchased many including the Bose NC headphones. I did buy the QC-35 II's and returned them. The Sony has better NC with better sound quality and better bass. They are comfortable to wear. That's important to me too. Don't get me wrong, the Bose are very good. I just like the Sonys better.

Sony makes a great product. The noise cancelling on these are excellent. The battery life is great. The sound quality is excellent. The Bass is great for over the ear headphones. The midrange is clear. The trebble is crisp. I was looking at the Bose and Sony, I'm glad I made this purchase.

I bought these for my fiance for her birthday because her last cheap pair broke in half. There's were a huge step up in terms of comfort, sound, and noise cancelling. I charged them up for her the first day she got them, about 3 weeks ago, and I don't think she's charged them up since so they have a long battery life for just using them at work. I bought these when they were around $280 and for that price I find them to get a great deal.

Honestly the best worries headphones I've purchased. The sound cancelling is fantastic. The depth and ambiance of the audio is incredible for a wireless device. The battery will last me multiple days with a full work day off usage. Extremely comfortable. My ears don't get hot in them as they have in others. I work remote so I use the headset for teleconferencing, web conferencing, and music. It cancels out my loud children effectively.

This headset sets the bar high for sound quality and range. Noise cancellation is superb, and the option of augmented ambient sound is amazing. Controls are a step above the competition. Ultimately, when I compared these side by side with the QC35 II’s these were superior in sound quality, headset comfort, battery life, charger connection, and controls. My only complaint is they don’t come with an AC transformer for wall plug charging, just the USB charging cable.

    Best ANC Headphones I've Used

These are one of the best ANC headphones I've used. I had the Sony WH-1000XM2 and got these. The XM3 is so much more comfortable than the XM2. They're also much lighter which allows you to wear them longer without getting uncomfortable. The ear cups also do not heat your ears up like the XM2 did. The ANC on these headphones, like the previous model are phenomenal. They block out all of the white noise and don't produce pressure on your eardrums like many other ANC headphones do.

I owned xb950 before. It's my first time to use sony wh-1000 series headphone. The overall headphone is light and it's comfortable on my ears. With LDAC, the sound performance is amazing! After I connect it with wire, the sound are better (yes, it's Hi-Res), Yet, I just find a problem today, the touch control will be malfunction under low temperature (approximate 0 degree Celsius at night). I hope Sony can fixed it in the future. Without this flaw, wh-1000xm3 is perfect!

I had originally bought the Beats Studio 3 and did not care for them. I compared them to my girlfriends 8 year old Solos, and they sounded better than these new Studios! The Sony had a much better sound and is very crisp! The highs were much better, and they have plenty of bass! The kicker is they feel so much better on your head! I gladly returned the Beats and got these on sale for 279, 80 more than the Beats. To me, worth every penny!

So, I've been in the market now for a 'good' pair of noise canceling headphones now for at least a few years. And, I've got an upcoming trip to Australia, which means 22 hours on three different airplanes to get there - figured there was no time like the present to do some research and finally buckle down and select something. My choices came down to the Beats Studio3, the Bose Q35, and these. I'd like to think of myself as somewhat of an audiophile, but not an audio snob. I just want my music to sound good, decent bass, with good clarity, and of course, something that will block out the noise of an airplane while in flight. The Beats... Sounded good, but not for the price they were asking. They're cool if you like the colors, and like Apple (FYI, I am in the Apple "ecosystem"). But they were expensive for what they sounded like. This left me between the Bose and these. I tried both in the store, and the associate that was helping me out told me he owned these himself, and opened some app he had on his phone (the Sony app), and messed around with it on the demo pair and...OMG... Mind blown!!! the different effects you could create simply amazed me (granted, I'm sure Bose probably had something similar), however the build quality of the Sony cans seemed more durable, AND the Sony pair came with the airline adapter (yeah, it's a minor thing that the Bose doesn't come with, but still...).. Lastly, I can attest to Sony's durability.. I have a pair of Xtra-bass wireless headphones I got from BBY four years ago on Black Friday that still, to this day, work excellent - they're just not noise cancelling, which built my confidence with Sony. I've read some negative things about Bose products to make me question how long their headphones will last.

I needed a good set of headphones for a project. I choose these because of the value for the price paid. They charge quickly (the charge lasts a full day’s work), the adjustable noise reduction is very useful, and they are comfortable. I wore them every workday for three months. I particularly like the feature that allows you to listen to conversations/noises around you by simply covering the right speaker with your hand.

These Sony headphones are almost perfection. The comfort is like nothing I have felt before, I could keep these headphones on all day and my ears would not be bothered by them. The active noise cancellation is great, I could barely hear anything and that's when I tried to. Sound quality is outstanding and clear, crystal clear. I have not used them when talking to somebody on the phone so I can't comment on that. But, there are two things that are just a little annoying about them and they are kind of nitpicky. The first one is if you shake your head from side to side while listening to music, you can hear and almost feel the system in the headphones moving side to side with you. That's not major because not too many people are shaking their heads side to side while listening to music but if you did do said action accidentally, you will notice it and it will make you wonder if you are damaging your headphones. The second thing is the fact that it can only pair to one device at a time. In today's age, the normality for most headphones is that they can connect to multiple things and it would have been nice If Sony had included that feature with their top-of-the-line headphones. If these had the capability of letting me connect to my tablet and my phone at the same time that would be amazing. Once again that's a nitpick, not a big deal it just takes a little extra time to repair it with my phone when I want to use it with my phone and vice versa with my tablet. Other than those two things these headphones are worth the price and pickup.

I love these headphones, but I wish I could get more high end spectrum out of the. Even with EQ on the 1000M2 I get better highs out of my BluebudX set. But for noise canceling and being able to enjoy music even at low volumes, these are great. I use them in an office, and those annoying people just go away. Battery life is crazy good. Comfort is good, but I've only worn them for an hour at a time so far. They look good and were easy to connect and use.

Sony did a great job with these earbuds. From the design to the case, it's amazing. The features that are included with the Sony headphones app are great. The noise cancelling feature is top notch and I use it for work all the time. You could also have ambient noise pump through the microphones if you need to hear certain things externally. One of my favorite features is being able to hold your finger on the touchpad to momentarily listen to external noise if you're going to have a quick conversation and you don't want to have to remove the earbuds. The sounds is amazing. We're talking Sony here. Listening to songs, you hear the separations of the highs, mids, and lows. There's plenty of bass if you're into that and you're able to crank it up in the Headphones app and play with the equalizer, which is very easy to use. Once paired with your phone, all you have to do is just pull the earbuds out of the case and you're good to go. In my week with this, I have yet to experience any connection issues at all. My main complaint is that these don't have the best fit in my ears. No matter which size eartips I use that came with the earbuds, they somehow manage to fall out occasionally. So, your mileage may vary when it comes to the fit of these earbuds. All in all, these are fantastic wireless earbuds. They have great sound, amazing noise cancellation, and really good battery life. An all around win.

This is the second WH-1000XM3 headset we have purchased and our third Sony WH-1000 headset. Our first Sony headset the WH-1000 has been in use for several years and we upgraded to the XM3 more than two years ago. The XM3 is more comfortable and sounds better than the XM1 so it was a good upgrade. We tried the XM4 headset before purchasing another XM3 and didn't find it to be as comfortable, sound any better, and had issues connecting with Blu Tooth devices! It was returned and we purchased another XM3 at the discounted price and are very happy with it. This was a brand new updated XM3 headset and not a referb or used item as I received from Amazon. We also tried several Apple / Beats headsets but found the Sony XM3 to be far superior in every aspect. For the price you can not go wrong.
