One of the best gadgets I’ve ever bought from Bestbuy. Sony noise canceling headphones deserve more love and marketing than they do already. All people know is Beats & AirPods when these blow both of those all the water like its nothing. Battery lasts about 30-36 hours per charge, comfortable, app works great & the richness of the sound quality is amazing

These are some great headphones! They pair quickly with my iPhone X and the noise cancellation is better than any other headphones I've used. I can't wait to try these on a plane to cancel the noise from turbulence. The touch controls and ambient noise option is great. The bass boost is also a nice feature. The price is a bit steep, but these are totally worth it. Must buy for sure. Great 2019 purchase.

I'm glad I got this over its competitor's. Their noise canceling has better adjustments and seems to be much quieter than the Bose. They are also more comfortable. The batteries last far longer too. The app works great to make changes, and doesn't crash often like their main competitor's app. Still getting used to the gesture controls, but this has a lot more control than the competitor's does.

Best headphones I have ever worn. My ears no longer have the range to evaluate frequency response, but the sound is immersive and without noticeable flaws. Great battery life, very comfortable. The star feature is the unbelievably good noise cancellation.

The sound cancelling is one of the best i have ever encountered along with great sound despite being over bluetooth. The fit is comfortable even though I use glasses and the battery life is good with an average of 20 hours continuous use. My only gripe is the app is a bit messy to use and could have improvements, so in reality I have no complaints about the hardware itself.

Great noise cancelling headphones. Replaced my QC15's with these and they did not disappoint. Overall I thought the QC15'S had better comfort and sound (but they weren't wireless). I really like the battery life and the ability to charge via USB-C. Noise cancellation is great, earphone controls are okay when needed and comfort is good. Can't go wrong with these or the Bose QC35's. I personally wanted USB-C charging.

I'm not getting into the specs etc. Plenty of people have done so. I'm just going to tell you that I worked in entertainment for close to 30 years and have owned or used many different headphones. These are the best ones I've ever used anywhere close to this price range. They are simply wonderful in every way I can think of. The only nit picky thing I have is I would like to have a little thicker pads but that's because of my big old ears. But seriously, phones are just wonderful and worth ever dime

These headphones are: Incredibly comfortable. I wear them on 6 hour flights to the west coast. Fabulous Noise Canceling. Does not feel warm after extended use. Cup the right side to silence the audio and use the microphones to listen to ambient audio, such as a flight attendant. Thes headphones have far exceeded my expectations. I have recommended them to many friends.

The bass comes through really well on these headphones, and the noise cancelling is the best I've ever used. Blocks most noises completely, and the ambient feature is useful for when you want to be aware of what's going on around you. I like the option to customize levels through the app on your phone as well. Bluetooth works well and connects immediately and battery life is long as advertised.

I originally bought the Sony 950 series but decided to spend the extra and upgrade to these. I am not disappointed in the slightest. Great battery life, amazing sound, superb noise canceling, and spectacular comfort. I took them with me on a trip to japan and the noise canceling worked flawlessly. The 30 hour battery life mean that I only charged them once during the entire trip too!

These headphones are amazing. They are comfortable, have fantastic sound, and the best nose cancellation I've experienced. I can't say how they compare to other headphone brands specifically, but I can say that I was standing next to a noisy air conditioner and I turned on the NC and the sound completely disappeared. Amazing. The feature where you place your right hand on the side of the eat cup to hear outside nose is brilliant. The gesture controls work great and having Google Assistant as an option for one of the buttons is pretty cool. I also love that these fold pretty compact into the case so it isn't a bulky package. I highly recommend these headphones. I love them.

My last headphones were Bose wired headphones and I liked them, but some time ago I decided I wanted to make the change to bluetooth wireless to use with my iphone. I don’t like in-ear earphones and so I waited until I found some over-the-ear headphones with excellent sound at a somewhat affordable price. After doing significant research and listening to several headphones, I decided the time was right and narrowed my choices to the Bose Quiet Comfort 35 II and the Sony WH1000XM3. Since they were the same price and equally comfortable to wear, my choice came down to sound quality and features. The Sony sounded marginally better to me (obviously, this is somewhat subjective). I also liked Sony’s longer-lasting battery charge that allows more listening time between charges. Finally, I found the function that allows you to increase, decrease, or mute the volume by touching the outside of the right headphone, very convenient to use. The Sonys were easy to connect to bluetooth using the setup instructions. I am very happy with my choice and am looking forward to using them on my next cross country flight. The only drawback was cost. Either of my final choices meant spending $350, the most I had ever spent on headphones. I ended up waiting until I had accumulated substantial rewards from Best Buy before using my rewards to reduce the cost of the new headphones and then bought them.

Bought these a few years ago. Great sound. Your ears will get hot. Long lasting battery. Touch buttons suck. Worth it

Christmas gift for my wife, to help her rest, relax, sleep during the day after overnight shifts...and most importantly to drown out my snoring. The noise canceling is stunning, and they are so light and comfortable that they create a great experience. Very nice color, slick touch controls, and an in depth optimization app make these a clear choice, along with the excellent battery life.

I came from Sennheiser HD1. The Sony has amazing sound, and the features are unparalleled. I prefer more base, so Sony makes sure the low end properly represented. Also the auto ambient sound works as advertised. As you move the ambient sound will filter in, and when you're stationary the ANC kicks back on. The battery life is really good, and the durability has stood up so far.

These headphones are amazing . I hate that I waited as long as I have to purchase them. The sound quality is great along with the Sony app to tailor the sound. The noise cancelling is the best I've ever heard and the are very light weight and comfortable as long as you are in a not so hot environment because the may get a little sweaty on the ear.

These are, without a doubt, the best over-the-ear noise cancelling headphones on the market. They are comfortable, have a great battery life (I've used mine for two hours straight and the battery lost less than 3%), produce crisp and clear sound, and are also stylish. The price tag is high, but they're definitely worth it since I expect to use these headphones regularly for the next few years.

I came across the knowledge of these headsets looking at YouTube reviews. When I went to the store and tried them on, the noise cancellation was superb. The sound quality, the mids, the lows and the highs all blend together to my taste. The fit is very comfortable and with the noise cancellation the music is crisp and clear. The only thing I regret about these headphones are the price. Overall, great set of headphones that work even better when you download the app to use with it

I've never thought about owning a set of Over-the-Ear Headphones. Just never saw the point. A friend of mine got a set of these on sale and was raving about them for their noise cancelling abilities and the sound quality of the music. So, with a upcoming flight to Mexico approaching, I decided to buy these to help with the long flight. The reviews for this unit are excellent and the sale price for the M3 vs the M4 made up my mind. So, with two weeks into my purchase I'm ecstatic with these. They are comfortable and the noise cancelling ability is incredible. I cannot recommend this set of headphones enough. Well worth the money, especially when they are on sale...

Great noice cancelling headphones, blocks out any fan noises or consistent noises. Very good battery life. It leans more towards the bass sounds but you can change the EQ on the app which has a very nice interface, easy to use. You can't connect to more than 1 device at a time, you have to disconnect from one to move on to the other one.
