Well, I had heard about these headphones when I was researching about Noise-Cancelation Headphones. Was undecided between this and the Bose Comfort QC35 II. Did a lot of researches on the web and also watching YouTube video reviews. The opinions differed a lot but then I decided to go to the store and see for myself the differences between them. I had tried Bose firstly and then I jumped to the next aisle with the magnificent Sony. And unreal why (you asking)? Because the cancellation was real. I was completely amazed at its ability to reduce all the noise ambients around (and we are talking about a big store with lots of noise). Also, the sound was very clear and with good bass (nothing exaggerated). Luckily, I decided and opted for Sony because the sound full filled my ears and my sensations. It's very comfortable, a good battery, very well-balanced and the app (for Android and iOS) it's just very customized and offer lots of options to make them even better. One of my favorite features, besides the ANC, is the fact they're "hybrid" which means even without the battery you can still plug them with a jack 3.5mm so you will still be able to play for hours the music you love. If you're thinking twice, just don't. They're worth it! I'm serious.

Apple wanted me to pay $$$ to fix my 1.5 year old airpods and spend weeks repairing them (goodbye Apple) so I decided to look elsewhere for a more superior product. I've never owned real noise cancelling headphones, and these have been game changing! Crying baby on plane? No problem! You can adjust everything in the app and they have walking, sitting, or transit modes that adjust to the sound around you. As other reviewers have noted, the one thing that is annoying is having to disconnect from one Bluetooth source in order to connect to another. When switching between my computer and phone, I find this to be a little annoying, especially when trying to take calls quickly. The battery life is also EXCELLENT. At least 30 hours, where my airpods could barely make a 1 hour call without dying. I have a smaller head and found that these headphones were more comfortable than the Bose ones (I spent an hour in the store trying them both on). Some say they are a little more bulky than Bose, but I don't really care about that so much. They are really nice headphones, and I can hear everyone on calls clearly, and no one asks me to repeat myself because they can finally hear me clearly too! For me, these are 4.5 out of 5 stars.

I picked these up and loved them! I read so much about how amazing these headphones were: the comfort, the battery life, the sound, and the noise cancellation. When I first wore them, I was in love. These were everything I wanted and more, and I was so proud of this purchase. Unfortunately, after only two months, I noticed a small stress crack where the right ear cup meets the headband. I was bummed, but thought it was no big deal because I hadn't abused the headphones in any way, and surely Sony would stand by the one year warranty. Nope. Sony stated that any physical damage isn't covered, even though the warranty states it only does not cover damage incurred outside of normal use. The headphones are pristine other than this small crack and obviously haven't had any damage. I disputed the findings and was still told they would not be covered. Now I move into the arbitration phase. Was a great product ruined by terrible customer service. Really makes me second guess my purchase and Sony in general.

The Sony WH-1000XM3s are one of the best wireless noise cancelling over-the-ear headphones. They're very comfortable and light on your head. I've worn a pair of headphones before where they'd tightly squeeze your head and it was so uncomfortable. The XM3s are a nice change as I have always wanted a good pair of headphones. They sound good, good bass out of the box and mids and highs sound good. Battery life is also great. 30 hours with NC on, and I think it takes 3.5 hours to fully charge the headphones. USB Type-C is also greatly appreciated! Touch sensor or the touch controls work good too. Overall a steal at $199.99!

    Awesome Headphones

These headphones are awesome. I initially purchased these after watching a few reviews in comparison to the newest Bose models, Bose's previous noise cancelling generation, and the Microsoft headphones. These seemed to deliver all that I wanted and were reasonably priced. The noise cancelling is perfect. Being able to head what I am listening to without any interference (noise) from the outside environment is refreshing. I've used these on national and international flights for over 6 hours and the experience was great. They're also fairly comfortable for my ear/head shape size when I begin to notice most headphones around my temple area and on top of my ears; I typically have these adjusted one click from the smallest setting. The sound that these output are also very good. Having the option to equalize your listening experience through the mobile application really improves the experience. These headphones coming in a hard case as well makes travelling with them an ease. I do not have to worry about these getting crushed in my work bag or school bag. I did deduct one start because of the integration that Sony had to make with their mobile application. You can not adjust the settings without going through their application as your limited to what you can do with your mobile phone. The headset also has certain features that when enabled, prioritizes one thing over another; for example, one can prioritize connection vs. listening experience, in which as a consumer, I would want both! This also affects how you can enable the noise cancelling and ambient leveling. Overall, I would recommend this headset. The footprint isn't too big, they're comfortable, sound quality is great, noise cancelling is great (and the devices hand-over-earcup ambient hearing), and the battery life is great (advertised up to 30 hrs, which I didn't mention in my review). I would also recommend considering skipping the Bose as my review research has shown that their newer models did not seem to be constructed as well (flimsy, some panels popping off when stressed, etc..) for the price as paid new.

I finally upgraded to wireless noise cancelling when I purchased these headphones and I have been very happy with my decision. I use these headphones with the bluetooth on my smart TV to play games, listen to music, or watch tv/movies, and they serve this purpose very well. They have great battery life, and I find myself charging them about every other day, but they really get the full two day's use. They also charge very quickly, so if I ever forget to charge them I'm not waiting long before I can use them again. They are comfortable and light enough for prolonged use. They are not extremely portable but I would use them on a flight. The noise cancelling is very good but I have not tested it outside of my home. However, I live in a pretty noisy area and these headphones do a great job of eliminating any noise from the outside world. I definitely recommend giving these a try, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Really have enjoyed these headphones. -- Music Quality: Full disclosure, I don't find that much wrong with Airpods (my previous go to headphones), so you may want to read elsewhere for music quality, but I feel like this certainly better than Airpods. But again, I'm no audiophile. -- Noise canceling: I bought these mostly for this aspect and I feel that with a low volume of music playing, all noise is cancelled out except for very loud, sudden noises. When I'm working in an office, I can't hear anyone. With music off, you can hear voices, but often times its difficult to detail. -- Battery life: Amazing. -- Comfort: I have big ears and they are fairly comfortable. Never really gets to the point where they hurt as I have had with over ears as well Bose headphones I've owned in the past. Taking them off for five minutes or less resolves the issue. I bought them for better noise cancellation so I could focus a bit better in the office setting. For that purpose they are a perfect, if pricey option. They are certainly the best noise canceling headphones I've ever owned . I have a low threshold for satisfaction for sound quality so I'd trust other's opinion.

After trying out the bland Bose Quiet Comfort 35 and comparing them to the Sony 1000xm3 , the Sony's win in all departments, rich sound and deep bass, ANC is so awesomely I don't hear all the noise at the gym anymore and enjoy my cardio movies in rich uninterrupted detail. 3rd these look and feel great, way better than the Bose ones.

They are extremely comfortable. Love the touch mute option. Love using the app alongside the headphones. Easily connects via bluetooth to many devices. The silver color is very attractive along with the case. Battery lasts a long time and with a quick push of the button, it tells you the battery percentage. Love!

I went to the store to get the MX2; but ended up getting these by accident. Best mistake. Fast charge went from 70 minutes to 5 hours gained. They're lighter and more comfortable than the 2s, and the NC is a lot better. I was torn between getting the Bose QC35ii and the Sony 1000-MX2s, so the MX3s are perfect. Like the perfect blend.

These are great headphones. They sound great, and are very comfortable. I had a pair of the WH-1000XM2, but returned them as they weren't at all comfortable, even for short listening periods. The only thing I wish Sony would change would be the ability to connect to multiple devices, as I can with my Jabra headphones. There are many times I connect to both my Pixelbook and phone, listening to something on the computer and then taking calls when the phone rings. The WH-1000XM3 can only connect to one device at a time. You can "forget" the bluetooth connection for one device and connect with another previously paired device with these, but not both at once. The battery life is great as well. I'll sometimes worry that I'll need to recharge headphones before I'm ready, but a simple short press of the power button provides an announcement of how much batter life is left -- and it always seems to be hours more than I would have guessed. The noise cancelling is exceptional, too. I tried Bose, but these are much better -- essential gear for long flights.

I was debating for a long time between these and the new bose 700s. I have owned these headphones for about a month now and have thoroughly enjoyed using them. The battery life has been fantastic and I have very few complaints if any. I went with these over the bose 700s because of their better base quality. I listen to all music but I enjoy the deeper bass these have over the bose. (Not to mention they're about $100 cheaper right now). The sound cancellation is wonderful and they fit very comfortably. They fold nicely and feel sturdy enough despite being mainly plastic. My only gripes would be that the touch controls can be a bit finicky and they can get a bit warm on my ears from the plush leather cups. However in all fairness this is after wearing them for an hour or two more and it would be difficult to find anything over the ear that wouldnt feel a bit warm after long use. I highly suggest grabbing these (especially after the price decrease) over the bose 700s despite my high opinion of the competition. You really feel like you get a bang for your buck.

The design looks great and the headphones feel like quality product which they should at that price. Sound is amazing: I really enjoy when I can hear the little details. With the app on your phone you can add extra bass to the sound. They are comfortable to use, but they could be a bit less tight.

Fantastic headphones overall. Very comfortable, stylish, good build quality. USB-c charging is very fast, and the battery actually lasts a ridiculous time like they claim. Sound quality is great, noise canceling is great. I also like the phone app and the options to change the noise canceling levels and sound levels/EQ. For pairing with a phone, you can just hold your phone up to the left ear and let the NFC connect it, no need to deal with settings. The only things I don't love are the touch controls and the lack of bluetooth 5. The touch controls work fine, and the feature to cover the right earcup to temporarily hear your surroundings is good. But, I'd rather have physical controls for changing volume and sounds because it'd work a little better with gloves or in the cold, etc. The bluetooth works great and range is good, but you can't connect to multiple devices. Overall, not huge complaints and they're well worth the price and better than the Bose QC35ii in my opinion.

So many high expectations for these headphones, read nothing but good things about them and all reviews i watched deemed these to be the headphones to have....well...they are solid noise cancelling headphones and are loaded with features however i have found many of the touch features to be middle of the road at best. Half the time the swipes and double taps dont even register. The sound is decent but in my opinion they dont get very loud nor is there very much depth to the sound quality. They can be very base heavy if you wish and the app you download for these have an awesome equalizer that gives you the ability to fine tune the sound to get the absolute best audio from these .they are very comfortable at home or for office/plane use..however not the best choice for any gym/physical activity as these get very hot on your ears and are not sweat resistant to my knowledge...i hate to compare these to a pair of earbuds that were designed for physical activity in the jaybird runs but I'm going to anyway..for 200 dollars less the jaybird runs blow these out of the water in audio quality and gym use...the m3 have amazing battery life, sound decent, and are very comfortable in a neutral setting but for nearly 400 dollars after tax i would give a HARD pass on these..will more than likely be returning these immediately.

I had this for a few days... but I ended up returning it just because I bought a MacBook and best buy bundle matched what the apple store was having... I couldn't have two different high end headphones.... but I will tell you though... this is way better than the beats studio 3... the sound alone doesn't compare. It's very comfortable and easy to use. ANC works really well without leaving that heavy feel of cabin pressure. It also has a smart feature where it knows when you're walking so it'll turn on the ambient sound so you're aware of your surroundings. It also had other great features such as if you put your palm on the right speaker it will turn the music down and let you hear the outside world.. helpful if you're on the airplane and someone needs to talk to you. Overall I think it's a great pair of headphones. Yea Beats are pretty main stream and they're not bad at all... but these are way better hands down.

After having issues with several pairs of JBL headphones, I decided that I wouldn't settle for anything but the best. These headphones are well worth the price and are everything I expected and more! I am no audiophile, but in my opinion the sound quality is absolutely incredible! The touch controls also work good and the battery life is unbeatable. The noise-canceling is amazing as it blocks out nearly everything (even the clanging of pots and pans as I am doing dishes). The only complaint I have with these is a slight discomfort at the top of my head from the headband after wearing these for a long period of time. However, this may just be because of the shape of my head, after all, there is plenty of padding on the underside of the headband. Other than this, I have no complaints. I highly recommend these to anyone looking for a pair of premium noise-canceling headphones!

Really great product. I purchased when they were on sale so the value for price was very reasonable. They connect quickly and are easy to turn on and off. The swipe/tap controls are very reliable and easy to use - it is nice not to have to click a button in to control music. The noise cancellation is wonderful, but the ambient mode can amplify sounds in a way that isn't always appealing. Adjustments in the app can make the ambient mode more pleasing. They are comfortable enough to wear all day and I can use them for a few days before charging them again. Overall, great product!
