I travel a lot and these were the PERFECT headphones. The noise cancellation was incredible and the sound was like no other. I recommend these to every person who tells me they are looking for a great pair of headphones.

While these headphones are a bit on the pricey side, the features it comes with make it worth it. They are great for studying or for travel and you can customize the sound on the app for the full sound experience.

These earphones are easy to use and great for long trips. They are comfortable and cut out most of the sound around me. I was able to use them to sleep on the plane. The quality of sound for movies is awesome!!

These are the best headphones that I have ever owned. The noise cancellation is second to none and the subjective sound quality is truly amazing! They are expensive, but you get what you pay for!

If I wear these while cutting the grass, I cant hear the lawnmower running... so if you trying to block out the outside world these work as advertised. Sound quality superior to beats. Make sure not to pay retail, no headset is worth $350. Charging cord is smaller than a micro johnson, not sure why they cheaped on that

My first wireless headset, loved it, music, movies omg, it is so amazing, noise canceling feature is so cool, specially while watching movies, I can’t hear any thing around me but the movie, the best headset ever.

The Sony’s are a good set of headphones, but I’ll be looking for another set, as I’m more interested in sound rather than noise canceling, assistants, and all the other things that everyone looks for these days. All I want is great sound, and the ability to turn the volume up as loud as I want too for listening to music. I’ll have to look at audiophile headphones I guess. Everyone raves about these, but I really don’t feel their worth the money. I’ll most likely keep these as spares, or give them away to my daughter. Also Sony needs to do some serious work on their app for the headphones, quite frankly, I found it worthless, especially for the cost of the headphones. So the search continues for a great set of headphones.

Cancels out EVERY NOISE AROUND YOU! It’s sleek, nice matte black and is by far the best quality headphones I’ve purchased. Glad I did, the speaker feature when you want to hear someone talking to you is a nice touch.

These are excellent. Only complaint is the microphone on these is not very good, people on the other side of phone calls can't hear you very well. But excellent sound quality and noise cancellation

These are definitely great for traveling. I love to travel and have taken theses on several trips. They completely remove the unwanted noise of the engines and let you relax so that you can enjoy your flight.

Move over Bose, the Sony Wh-1000XM3 has just taken over as the “BEST”! The Sony’s are more comfortable super easy to use and set-up. I used Bose for years, but these are hands down the best! I would buy them again!

Last year a friend of mine came over with his new Sony WH-1000XM2 and immediately began to extol the virtues of the Sony over the Bose QC35. I had never heard Sony's noise cancelling headphones, but I certainly didn't expect them to be in the same ballpark as the Bose. Bose had been the undisputed noise canceling headphones for some time and I had never really given that a second thought. While I still preferred the Bose, the Sony XM2s were very good and I could see why my friend liked them so much. Here we are a year later and Sony has dropped their third generation of the WH-1000 headphones and all I can say is they nailed it. The new Sony WH-1000XM3 are an absolute 'must buy' if you are in the market for some wireless, over-the-ear, noise-cancelling headphones. They offer 30 hours of playback time on a single charge and based on what I have experienced I believe them. They are lightweight and seem very wheel built. While not as light as the Bose QC35, the difference is nearly imperceptible with long term use. They offer moderate clamping force which keeps them on your head and snug, but not to the point of causing a headache. The ear cups are cushy and soft which means long term listening shouldn't be an issue.. The Sony offer an outside audio passthrough mode as well so that you can talk to someone with the headphones still on which is always a nice to have. The sound is skewed a little hot and can get a little bass heavy, but for me that isn't a negative as so many headphones today lack 'energy'. Still a better aural balance than some of my past Beats headphones. I would argue the Bose are probably more balanced, but not nearly as fun to listen to. That being said,Sony does offer an iOS and Android app that allows you to tweak the EQ to dial them in to your preference. The app also has an Optimizer that will dial in the sound based on external noise and atmospheric pressure. That is something you can't do with the Bose. The real star of the show is the noise canceling. It is bar-none the best I haven't heard. When you put them on you are immediately transported into silence. I haven't had a chance to try them on a flight yet, but I am looking forward to it. I am not saying they are leaps and bounds beyond the Bose, but they are better. Period. The only real negative I have are the touch controls on the right outer shell. Yes they work, but are neither super intuitive or responsive. I find I have to take multiple swipes at times to get volume changes and I have an even harder time pausing content. Not a deal breaker by any means, but I am hopeful that Sony further refines this in their next generation. Overall, the Sony WH-1000XM3 are the real deal and successfully claim the noise canceling throne from Bose. If you have read this far you are just wasting time. Just buy them as you won't be disappointed.

I've had a pair of QC35's from Bose and while those are great, the Sony's are far more comfortable, have better noise cancelling and the sound quality is superior. Highly recommended.

Love being able to plug into my old MP3 player that has FM tuner with these. I can easily switch to Bluetooth and sync to my phone or laptop. Use them a lot for Skype meetings and my WFH office!

I love these headphones! They really ate noise cancelling and the sound quality is awesome. I am not a tech saavy person, but it was easy to learn how to use all the featires these headphones offer.

This is a great pair of noise cancelling headphones. Definitely better than Bose QC35ii. Quality of music playback is also very good as it supports aptx, aptx HD, aac and LDAC. And extra points for USB C charging.

After testing both, Sony and Bose flagship headphones, I had to pick these based on the fact that while NC was on par with both, Sony's sound quality and app flexibility made this the best choice for me :)

Can’t complain anything .. sounds great and really awesome to cancel the noise . Only thing I see inconvenient is this supports one device at a time . Switching device should be seamless..
