I currently own several brands. Bose, Samsung, apple. there is a newer model out that is supposed to be even better. XM4

Not a huge amount better but overall just better in all areas. The case is nice and light weight. I really like these headphones

I tried the bose first and returned them for the Sony. They cut almost all the ambient sound out and have great functionality from your phone through the app

I got the 900's for about half the price of the 1000's, and would recommend the 900's for better value by far. Unfortunately, both have touch controls on the ear cup (I'd prefer buttons).
