If u are looking for headphones- choose these ones

Battery is enough for ~30h. They are so comfy and worth the price. If you forget to turn them off - the battery will go down of course but it took them almost 2days to be out of charge just working w/o connecting to phone.

In my opinion, they are the best the only thing that I don’t like is that they are made out of eco-friendly material which I do like, but I feel that they could’ve spent more time developing a more premium feel at this price point, and still be eco-friendly. The box is eco-friendly and recyclable that it comes in, and the case that it comes in is made of cloth. It comes with a companion app that allows you to change all of the EQ settings, which is very important for listening to different types of music. It lasts long. Sometimes I don’t have to charge it for a full week and I get a lot of active use out of it it’s decent for phone calls, but better for listening to music without other people hearing what you listen to. I highly recommend these and the former version the 1000 XM4. The noise cancellation on these are as phenomenal as it gets.

The material used for the cushions is super soft and premium. The equalizer is amazing, though I like the out the box sound to have a very balanced sound. Battery life has been great so far. I wish there was a little bit more customization in the app for non Spotify users.

Great Sound

When I upgraded to these I was excited, but they’ve unfortunately broken on me many times. I return to them because the comfort and sound quality is there, but I wished the hinges around the headphone and headband area were stronger and not made of a hollow plastic. That actually changed in their new XM6’s which I have yet to be able to afford, but I do love that they finally added a metal hinge which will hopefully be more structurally sound (and repairable). My Best Buy+ membership is the only reason I haven’t bought a different pair, so shoutout to whoever sold me on it a couple years ago as it’s saved me thousands and I still get to enjoy the Sony brand. I like these, but would not recommend them over the XM4 or XM6 models. Additionally some problems I’ve had are it just shutting off randomly, disconnecting the audio from my phone while still being paired, and other weird software (possibly i’m no expert) related issues that have made owning them more frustrating than previous models.

If you work from home get this headset

Work from home in a very loud environment. All of them lacked something, either a good microphone that will block the background noise, battery life, not comfortable to wear, or a combination of them. And we have a clear winner. Perfect and smooth calls with no background noise heard for yourself or the person you are talking to (even with a screaming baby by your side) lightweight and comfortable to wear for hours, amazing carrying case, multi-device connectivity and voice control, the Sony headset app has ton of features that you can customize according to your needs, battery life is superb. Definitely worth your money.

Great sounding wireless headphones

The cushions are comfortable, even with my glasses on and for an extended period of time. I can tell that the cushions are going to break down sooner or later, so I’m already looking for replacements.

Sony Headphones for working out!!

They are not waterproof however you can buy silicone covers on amazon! I wish they were a bit louder but they stay on the head and are very comfortable! I only have needed to charge it once!

I bought this for full price. This is rare, I usually only splurge if items are on sale but I needed a pair of quality headphones I could use while studying. The sound dampening is next level, it even beats the Apple Airpod Pros. The quality of the build is lightweight and feels expensive. I also appreciate how well the storage case is. It has a little magnetic compartment to store the cord when not in use. The battery life is phenomenal and will last you well over a week. One downside is that app is annoying and the ability to go from ambient to noise canceling is confusing.

But I can’t mark points for this because it’s great when I’m walking in public areas. Sound is amazing but I am not an audiophile. Batter can last me a whole week on a single charge. On average I use them 6 days a week usually 3 hours with no adaptive sound or noise canceling, and 3 hours with noise canceling. My school is far so I use them on my drive and at the gym.

Honestly I debated between these and the AirPod Maxes, and I’m glad I chose this one (my wallet is happy too lol). I’ve tried both on, and couldn’t see a difference in sound quality. Also these are great for traveling, if u don’t mind the bulk of the carrying case. It filters out loud engine noise and children screaming on flights, and lasts for 25+ hours, so I’d definitely recommend!!

AirPod Max’s bite the curb.

Owned for 7 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I personally traded in my AirPod Max’s for a pair of Sony XM5’s and honestly I would have never bought the Max’s if I wasn’t blinded by social media. Noise cancellation is a little less inferior compared to the Max’s but everything else makes up for it. I no longer get a random headache from wearing my headphones nor have deal with the bulkiness of the headphones when storing it in my bag. Though I was hesitant to leave the apple ecosystem I do not regret my decision. If you care about audio and customization then Sonys are the move. Take it from a broke college student that hates listening to people. Get the Sony’s.

Great headphones to cancel outside noises!

I get really distracted with outside noise but the noise canceling on these are really awesome. The quality of the music is really nice. I feel like i’m in the studio w the artist listening to unreleased music. The battery life outlasts my phone, my airpod pros, and my ipad. Overall, for the price I think it’s really worth it and it’ll last for years due to the overall quality.
