While these convieniently fold and hold charge very well, they aren't very comfortable. After time the pressure on the ears gets quite annoying. The noise cancelling does not work nearly as well as I would have liked. The battery operated and cordered version of the same thing by Sony was better suited for a plane ride. That said, for the price point to compared others sets of the same type can't be beat. Delivers for the dollars spent.

This review is for the Sony - WH-CH510
Ive been into sound for decades now and lately it has been a challenge to find anything resembling a neutral sound at almost any price unless you go above the $200 mark.
We/I researched headphones for weeks, tried some, returned all except these.
I liked these headphones so much that I went back and bought another set for my wife two weeks later as a surprise as when she tried mine she loved them as well.
What more can one ask for at this price? In our opinion the sound is better/more accurate then headphones costing much more.
1. Sound, so many headphones, including Sony advertise certain models as "Extra Bass" to us this is crazy, all we want is a neutral headphone at reasonable cost and we can adjust sound the way we like, not the way the manufacturer thinks is should be.
Can't stand the muddy over bearing bass of headphones. I want to hear the sound that the artist intended.
Dont misunderstand this statement though, these headphones are not in any way lacking in bass, is fact there is still a bit too much but with our settings in our bluetooth phones we can reduce it.
2. Battery life, another important pet peeve of ours. Why settle for 7 hours of battery life when you can have over 14? Its awesome putting on your headset not having to wonder if the battery will have to be recharged or worse go dead on you while you listen. No stress here! Battery life is awesome!
In addition the headset tells you how much battery life when you turn them on.
3. Bluetooth, WOW! We can walk around anyplace in our large home, leaving our phone wherever we want and never lose the bluetooth signal. Its been dead on reliable on my iPhone XR and my Wifes Android phone. Turn on the headset with my iPhone, bluetooth automatically pairs within seconds, if that long.
4. Construction, perfect for us. Some might say "cheap" feeling plastic. To us, its super lightweight headset that stays on your head! I returned another more heavy brand, as good as they sounded, darn things fell of our heads the second you tilt your head down. There is something to be said about lightweight.
Overall = Great sound at a great price, terrific battery life, light weight and comfortable, doesnt make your ears sweat either.
I just dont see how you can go wrong with these and since they dont cost a fortune you can easily replace them when the time comes or if you lose them.
I honestly dont know of any headset that can match all the positives above at any price up to $100/$150 or so.
Or better said, we couldn't find any that beat them.

The sound is really loud but it doesn't work correctly. It's loud to others but not in my ear anyone near me can hear the speaker from the headphones clear as day and I really can't unless it's louder than it needs to be. It stopped working after 3 months :(

The materials feel cheap, light, and are truly uncomfortable after a short time. Sound quality is great though. Additionally, the buttons are too sensitive and hard to find specifically the "pause/play" button.

I never liked earbuds because they were either really uncomfortable or wouldn't stay in my ears, so I started looking at over ear headphones. I have to admit, I haven't used over ear headphones in years, so I was expecting poor sound quality in comparison to my earbuds. So I was immediately impressed with these -- they definitely have Sony's sound quality and it's making me fall in love with my favorite songs all over again. The most important factor for me though was comfort, as I listen to music heavily throughout my workday, workout to help me focus. These are so light and stay in place without hurting my head or ears, so I can see myself wearing them for hours on end. Time will tell how long they last, but I'm glad I got them.with good price.

Best headphones I’ve ever bought! I’ve had them for over a year and they still work like they’re new. I listen to music with a lot of bass and usually have a hard time finding headphones that sound good. Definitely recommend! Battery last forever I can go a whole month without charging them.

I bought this headset for the bluetooth compatible + built-in microphone to facilitate hands-free calls while working from home. I do enjoy almost everything about this headset. There are two things I dislike enough to lower the rating from 5 to 4 stars. Just as one other reviewer mentioned I can't tell which buttons do what when the headset is on without looking at them (You can sort of feel raised symbols, but I can't feel the transition from one button to the next so it's hard to tell which button I'm touching.) My work-around is to use my phone screen to disconnect calls and change volume. The second thing is that they really hurt my ears by days end. I have tried to adjust and wear them half off/half on. I do wish I had purchased over-the-ear headphones. Features I do like: Bluetooth compatibility has been seamless. Good sound quality. Mic works really well. I also love the fact that it tells you what percent of battery is left. By day three of working 8 hour days without charging; it falls to 70%. To me that's impressive.

Lightweight Companion for Work and Leisure

Sony has once again proven its prowess in the audio segment with these headphones. The first thing I noticed after using them was their impressive battery life. I often find myself lost in hours of work or indulging in a movie marathon, and these headphones keep up with me without needing constant recharging.
Their lightweight design is a boon, especially for prolonged use. I almost forget I have them on most of the time! The sound quality is aptly tuned for movies and casual tasks, making dialogue clear and background scores immersive.
I own two of these, one dedicated for work and the other for my movie nights. However, a word of caution: they do feel a tad delicate and might not endure rough handling. So, handle with care.
In conclusion, if you’re in the market for an audio companion that delivers on battery life, comfort, and sound quality, Sony's offering ticks most of the right boxes. Just be gentle with them, and they'll serve you well.

Sound is good. Comfortable to the ears. Bought it for my daughter last Christmas and she really loved it! The price is okay for the brand. You will never go wrong with a Sony. The best thing about this product is the convenience of bringing it around since it is wireless and light. Yes, I would recommend it!

Amazing value. Got them on sale, good noise cancelling, battery life is amazing, simple clean look, lightweight. The only thing I wish is that you could make them a little louder. If music of video isnt HQ, the sound can be low. Would definitely buy again.

These are VERY good noise canceling! Maybe too good. Great sound and base, no tinny sound or high pitching feedback. Clear and solid. Comfortable as well. Stays charged for a long time. Easy to connect/pair.

Great set of headphones for $60.00. Just to be clear, it's a little misleading how under the Best Buy specifications section it shows these headphones are noise canceling. The microphone according to the manual that comes with the headphones, cancels out noise for calls but for isolation and blocking out background noise while using them to listen to media, they do not cancel out noise. You will have to purchase the WH-CH710N headphones from Sony. The sound is still really good for pair of $60.00 headphones, I would definitely recommend them. Great battery life at 35 hours of playback time and over 200 hours of stand-by time according the instruction manual.
