The Sony WH-CH700N headphones provide good sound with decent bass. The noise cancelling isn't the best, but it works well. I use it while I'm vacuuming with no issues. They're comfortable, but after wearing it for a few hours, I do get some ear fatigue, but it's expected since they're noise cancelling. The bluetooth connection is good, though, in the middle of a call, I've had it disconnect once. Not sure why. The battery life is phenomenal. I've used this on and off for the past four weeks, sometimes a few hours at a time. I've yet to need to recharge it.

Purchased these on sale. Very comfortable pair of headphones. They sound pretty good also. Was able to connect them via bluetooth to my android phone very quickly and easily, no problems. Still have not be able to connect to my pc via bluetooth (actually just gave up trying becasue I became frustrated). All in all they serve the purpose I purchased them for, just a little disappointed I could'nt connect to my pc, so when using with my pc (windows) computer I just plug in the cable. Also holds charge for a very long time.

I've purchased and tried several headphones over the past year - and this one is the best. I also have a) Beats Studio 3 and b) Earphones that come with the iPhone. These Sony headphones have been the easiest to connect, has a long-lasting charge, has an easy to use noise cancelling feature, and I have no problems disconnecting it or connecting it as I need it. The sound is wonderful and I can easily make adjustments in the type of sound (bass, concert hall, etc.) They are also the most comfortable over-the-ear headphones I have tried on - especially compared to a similar type of headphones from Beats. I can take walks with them and listen to books or music. My Beats Studio 3 headphones are still in the box since I was debating whether I should return them or not. I bought them on sale and used gift certificates. The Sony headphones are comparable and more comfortable. The Beats headphones also cost $349 - at least $200 or more than the Sony's - and not worth it for my preferences - although the Beats do look and sound nice. The Beats were a bit too snug and rigid, whereas the Sony's are more flexible in material and the over-the-ear part is cushiony and comfortable. I keep looking for the Sony headphones to see if I can find on sale (again) because I really like them, and in our family of five it's often shared. I used the $5/$10 certificates and purchased it on sale so I got a good deal, otherwise I wouldn't have bought expensive headphones. I'm glad I did, they are worth it!! Highly recommend!

I was searching the market for wireless headphones, and was not looking at putting a lot of money in them. I missed out on the Sony 1000XM2 BF sale, and did not want to pay full price for the Sony 1000XM3. I initially purchased the Sony MDR-XB950BT online- however I returned them due to the headphones being very bulky. I did listen to them when I was in the store returning the item and those headphones have a ton of bass. As for the Sony 700, these headphones are not as bulky to me-but they are not as fashionable as the Sony 1000MX3. I will mainly be using the headphones for the gym and travel. So far the sound quality is great, connectivity was smooth via the "headphones" app, and there is some NC. I have a few upcoming trips so I will get to see how well the NC works on the planes and around trains. Another reason I purchased these were due to them only being $99 plus the 35 hours of battery life. Only downside is that the headphones take 7 hours to charge- so be sure to put them on the charger before you go to bed. That can also be a good thing, because it prevents you from overcharging your headphones. Below are a few cons: Headphones don't bend/fold No travel case included Charging cord is short Those are not deal-breakers for me- I was able to find a case on Amazon for $12. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase,

Very comfortable to wear and sound quality is first rate. Mobile app allows control of base and sound modes and works seamlessly. Battery holds charge for extended timeframes and does not trickle down with long period of dormancy. Nothing to complain about here and a much better price value than overhyped and overpriced competitors.

I wanted Bluetooth headphones to pair with my new tv, so that I could listen without disturbing my wife who watches her tv in the adjoining room. Paired with the tv easily. They sound good, plenty of bass without getting blasted out like the extra bass ones. Lightweight and very comfortable to wear for hours of tv watching or listening to music. Half price on pre Christmas doorbuster. I would recommend these headphones.

Love the headset. It is like I see at photo. The package was all very good. And the delivery was before the day. The noise-canceling is insane. The bass, the sound of music, confortable. This Sony headset has all I need. I star using 6 weeks ago and by now I have not charged.

These headphones have some of the best battery life I've ever seen for Bluetooth headphones. Sound quality is very good. Very lightweight and comfortable as well. Noise cancelling does a decent job, but no quite on par with the Bose QC35 ii or Sony 1000xm2. Overall excellent headphones for the price.

Lightweight, compact, great sound, powerful base, and all at an affordable price. These Sony wireless-noise canceling- over the ear headphones really are something to be taken seriously. I love these things. I needed something for work, driving, and the gym and this fits the bill. Thank you Sony for making it easy to enjoy music!

These over the ear headphones are fantastic for the price. They are way more comfortable than earbuds and do a good job of cancelling out noise. Easily connected to my phone and battery life is good. If you're looking for a pair of headphones that won't break the bank and provide great performance, then I highly recommend these.

I had been looking for a set of wireless headphones. I hate earbuds (they feel weird in my ears) and the on-ear headphones tend to hurt my ears after less than an hour. These over-the-ear headphones are just right, fitting comfortably around my ears so that I can wear them for long periods of time. Add in the wireless and noice cancelling functions and for the price they're a good buy.

Headphones have good crisp and clear sound, great for listening to podcasts or music while working around the house. Fairly light weight. Bluetooth connection keeps linked within one room's distance. Comfortable for a few hours of continuous usage. Charge seems to last a long time (still on my first full charge).

Very good sounding noise canceling earphones. Solid bass. The noise canceling around the house is pretty effective. Haven't used them on a plane or anything like that. Good build quality, comfortable and decent battery life. If you don't want to drop $300+ on the top of the line ones, these are an excellent buy.

Very light and comfortable with an insane battery life, 35 hours!!! Sounds great and pairs easily. Downsides are small as it does not come with a case to protect your purchase and it can only pair to one device at a time (switch between iPad and iPhone requires manually going into device settings to swap connections)

    Best Budget Headphones

I've had this headphones since 2019 and they are still working great. Has normal wear and tear for a 4 year old headphones: just the material that your ears are on is more "cracked" but not peeling. I use them for studying, working out, jammin while I'm cleaning my place, Zoom calls, and airplane rides.

    Noise cancelling is confusing...

My opinion related to the WH-CH700N is they are decent sounding headphones that slide right into where I would expect them based on what I can compare them to. They don’t sound as nice as the more expensive pairs I have available to me…but they are definitely better sounding than the cheaper pairs. The big consideration I would have is how important is the noise cancelling in your decisioning? If you are going to use them primarily in relatively quiet areas or to drown out office sounds, you will probably be very happy. If you want to use them on a bus or in the car…it is probably a good idea to check out another model. I was in the market for a new pair of noise cancelling headphones so I could keep a pair at work. I saw the WH-CH700N during Black Friday for $100 and decided to pick up a pair. I have been using Sony headphones since high school (MDR V600...I still have them and they are still awesome...unfortunately the padding is deteriorating so I don’t wear them often). My current primary noise cancelling headphone is the XB950N1. When the house is quiet, I like to use my MDR-V6. My wife uses the WH-1000XM2…which is probably the best set of headphones I have listened to. I do have a few pair of less expensive Sony wired headphones and earbuds for various activities. I mention this these are the headphones that are contributing to my opinion. The headphones are relatively comfortable on my head. I wear glasses and I have not experienced any discomfort. From a sound perspective…I have only listened to them via Bluetooth, not corded. They do not have the bass that the XB950N1 has and they are not as full (rich) as the MDR-V6 or WH-1000XM2 but I am very satisfied with their sound. They are right where I would have expected them. What actually prompted me to write this review is the noise cancelling. In my opinion the noise cancelling is confusing. I will try to explain…the headphones do a great job of cancelling out high pitched sounds like alarm clocks and phone ringers. The headphones do a terrible job of cancelling out low sounds like traffic and engine noise. I expected the active noise cancelling to be on the par as the XB950N1 and WH-1000XM2…but it just isn’t. It is unfortunate that I have to say this, but I am not an expert. I have not tested every model/brand of headphones. I personally have stayed with Sony headphones because they sound good to me…but I am absolutely not qualified to get into a debate about which headphones are better than others. Take this review simply as a person’s experience, nothing more.

Tried in store comparing with the Sony XB950N1 Extra Bass NC wireless. While I do like a good amount of bass, the XB was too much and the CH700N sounded much clearer while still providing great bass. I needed a pair that also had a 3.5mm jack so that I could plug in to PS4 and Xbox controller and these have it. Sound amazing over Bluetooth though you may want to use an equalizer in your music app, without it adjusted is way too shrill for me. Only major complaint is that the NC could be better. It blocks out some noise but not as much as I hoped for. I primarily listen to metal so it's not as big a problem as it might be for others. You can spend more for a pair with better NC but I myself find it very difficult to justify spending more than $200 on headphones. Also, they are a little tight around the neck but quite comfortable while wearing. Cups for the over the ear design are oval with being rounded off at the bottom for a great fit. Overall, very happy with my purchase. Best pair of headphones I've ever had.

I bought a new phone that doesn't have a headphone jack, so I decided to buy some bluetooth headphones. I ended up buying two different pairs around Black Friday, both Sony OTE (the other was the Sony - WH-1000XM2). The sound quality between the two is comparable. My music was equally enjoyable. These are not as comfortable as the Sony - WH-1000XM2 (not as much padding). But they are comfortable enough that I can wear them for several hours without issue. The noise cancelling function on these is only okay. They help get rid of some noise, but a lot still gets through. I can hardly hear anything with the Sony - WH-1000XM2. This may not matter in many circumstances where noise cancelling isn't important. But when I am on a plane, I will take the Sony - WH-1000XM2. Batter life on both is fantastic. I'd take these on a trip without worrying about packing the charging cable. Overall, I am happy that I bought these (at their sale price). I wouldn't pay full price for them.

These headphones were purchased for my wife who uses the noise canceling feature to block out subtle outdoor distractions like lawn mowing, thunderstorms, kids playing, etc. She is very happy with the performance in that regard. She says the headphones sound really good and they are fairly comfortable. No complaints about the battery life either. I tried the headphones at work to drown out overly talkative co-workers around me (I work in an open office floor plan). While listening to music, the headphones perform quite well. However, if you are listening to podcasts or an audio book, I didn't find the canceling feature to be as effective. My wife would have given the headphones 5 stars, I would have given a 3.5 or 4 rating, so we've averaged this out to 4 stars. These opinions are based on the price we paid on prime day ($80). Had we paid full price for this product (around $200) I think our rating would be in the 3 star range.
