The TV has Bluetooth and I wanted headphones that I could connect and not worry about wiring. I’m up late at night sometimes and also home during most days. My wife works from home and I wanted to be able to watch the TV and not bother her. The headphones connect easily and the sound is fantastic. There is no lag, and I stay connected from anywhere in the house. Very satisfied with them.

I own mostly Bose products, but purchased these for my daughter for Christmas because they were deeply discounted. Without the discount, they are not far from the price of other high end products. My only criticisms at this time are that they are bulky, a little heavier than their competitors, and they do not come with a case to store the head phones like the other high end products. You have to purchase the case via 3rd party vendors.
