I like these a lot. Again, I want to make sure you understand this before reading on with this review. I like these over-the-ear headphones, a lot. But I don't LOVE them. Not the way I love my other Sony - XB950N1. Those I LOVE. Okay so with that, read on. What I like. The fit is great. I can have them on all day without any issues. They feel fine for long time wear. The earmuff leather is soft enough but I feel they just lack something that I just can't put my finger on. The construction is again, good not great. The headphones are constructed mainly of hard plastic and it feels that way. Normally, when you want a well-constructed headphone, you can feel the premium feel with weight and the way things slide. The way something clicks or buttons have a certain sound. These feel like hard plastic. Not a bad thing, just not a great thing. The sound quality is good. It almost sounds like Sony wanted something safe. They didn't want to rock the boat and give you too much bass or allow you to tinker with the sound too much so as not to get too much hate. Instead, they went with more of a mid-range sound that was well, almost too perfectly mid-range. Nothing punchy or nothing too hi-def. The noise-canceling is okay but if you sync it with your phone, your NC button becomes the Google Assistant and/or Alexa. I do like this feature in that I have a Google Pixel 3 XL and use the assistant often. Overall, good headphones if you got it during the Black Friday sale or if you can find it under a $100 bucks. Otherwise, I save and bump up to another level.

However....,, They were not compatible with our iPhone 6S phones. We could connect to our iPads wirelessly, but not our phones. We did connect with the audio cable that was included. The sound was incredible .... with and without the cable. Sorry to say we returned them since they could not wirelessly connect to our phones. Great headphones!!!!! I would recommend them for the quality and easy use and super sound.

We have a lot of newer Sony audio products. I think I gravitate toward Sony because of their cool Walkman/Discman products I grew up on. Anyway, these headphones sound great. A little richer sound than my Beats. Built in Google Assistant is nice. I have had connectivity issues with their Bluetooth speakers, but those issues are not present with these headphones.

This is a good set of headset that I am enjoying. I had bought it just for occasional use. But then covid happened. It has come very handy while I have been working from home. Right now, I am using it regularly and find it quite useful. This is not super expensive but has good quality that works for me. I mostly use wired connection and have not used its bluetooth for a while now

I have worn Bluetooth headphones for several years as I run a lot of noisy equipment, and currently have a set of very expensive Bose headphones. I also have a large head. The pads on these are not as soft and comfortable as the Bose but not bad. The sound is great but occasionally I get a little static from the noise canceling. I highly recommend these from a value point, less than half the cost of Bose.
